In Week Twenty-Thirty of the competition, we are now halfway through the second half of our season. This weekend we had just one winner and that is PHIL REEVE our double Champion of 1987/88 and 2011/12. Phil won the full amount of prize money of £5 on his best personal score of 12 goals. He now becomes our fifth player to do so. Phil last won some shared cash back in Week-Seven. Since then he has picked up two blank weekend score sheets with 6th place still his best position to date. Just under half of us managed to pick up some goals this week, which means that our top five have almost stayed the same as last week’s table once again. It was VINCENT CRUICKSHANK who picked up the most midweek goals with a total of 7. His teams are Celtic, MK Dons and Southampton. Out in front again this week we have KEITH RATTLE, now with a total of 82 goals. Keith’s teams are Chelsea, Rangers and Wrexham. In second place, we still have BARBARA BARNES (1) now on a total of 76 goals. In third place, we still have SCOTT THOMSON (1) but he is now joined by RICHIE WILLIAMS up from four. Both are on a total of 69 goals. In fourth place we still have TONY GUY (3) now with a total of 68 goals. In fifth place we still have MICHAEL FISHER now with a total of 67 goals.
WEEKEND RESULTS
We had 6 of our teams without a game this weekend, plus we had another 9 of our teams that failed to score any goals. We had a really good weekend for goals this week. The average score was four goals last weekend, but this weekend it went back up to 6 goals. Well done if your teams picked up more than that. The highest score over the weekend was 5 goals once again and we had two of our teams to reach that score. They came from BOLTON WANDERERS and LIVERPOOL. PREMIER LEAGUE
Top of the table ARSENAL beat London rivals CHELSEA 2-1 at home and are on a total of 75 goals and they have now scored in all of their last 9 league/cup games. Chelsea are on 69 goals and have now scored in all of their least 5 league/cup games. MANCHESTER CITY are still in 2nd place after they won 1-0 away to Leeds Utd and are on a total of 80 goals. In 3rd place we now have MANCHESTER UNITED after they won 2-1 at home to CRYSTAL PALACE. United are on a total of 53 goals and have now scored in all of their last 17 league/cup games. Palace are on a total of 36 goals and have a goal run of 8 league/cup games. Aston Villa are down to 4th place. LIVERPOOL are now in 5th place after they picked upo their biggest win of the season 5-2 at home to WEST HAM UNITED. Liverpool have taken their goals tally up to 56 goals and have now scored in all of their last 9 league/cup games. West Ham are on a total of 39 goals. AFC BOURNEMOUTH drew 1-1 at home to SUNDERLAND and picked up goal number 47. Sunderland hit goal number 32. NEWCASTLE UNITED lost 3-2 at home to Everton and they are on a total of 55 goals and they have extended their goal run to 7 league/cup games. BRIGHTON won 2-1 at home to NOTTINGHAM FOREST and are on a total of 52 goals. After they had failed to score in their last two games, Forest are on a total of 31 goals. TOTTENHAM lost 2-1 away to Fulham and are on a total of 42 goals.
CHAMPIONSHIP
Middlesbrough are still in 2nd place after they had no game over the weekend.
In the Play-offs we still have two of the four teams this weekend as IPSWICH TOWN remain in 4th place, after they won 3-0 at home to Swansea and are now on a total of 62 goals. WREXHAM are still in 6th place after they won 1-0 away to Charlton and are on a total of 67 goals and have now scored in all of their last 5 league games.
Meanwhile, BLACKBURN ROVERS lost 3-1 away to Derby and are on a total of 34 goals. After a goal run of 5 league games, LEICESTER CITY lost 2-0 away to NORWICH CITY and picked up their 6th blank of the season. Norwich are on a total of 57 goals and have now scored in all of their last 6 league games. PRESTON NE lost 2-0 at home to Millwall and picked up their 10th blank of the season. SHEFFIELD UNITED won 2-0 away to QPR and are on a total of 54 goals. They have now scored in all of their last 8 league games. LEAGUE ONE
Top of the table CARDIFF CITY won 4-0 away to Doncaster and have taken their goals tally to 78 goals and they have now extended their goal run to 21 league/cup games.
In the Play-offs, we still have three of the four teams with BOLTON WANDERERS still in 3rd place after they won 5-1 away to Exeter. Bolton with their biggest result of the season, are now on a total of 55 goals and have now scored in all of their last 8 league/cup games. STOCKPORT COUNTY are down to 5th place after they lost 2-1 away to Stevenage and are on a total of 53 goals. HUDDERSFIELD TOWN are still in 6th place after they lost 1-0 away to Wigan and picked up their 7th blank scoresheet.
Meanwhile, LEYTON ORIENT lost 3-1 at home to Barnsley and are on a total of 45 goals. PETERBOROUGH UNITED drew 1-1 away to Northampton and are now on a total of 52 goals. BLACKPOOL picked up their 12th blank of the season after they lost 4-0 away to Lincoln. LUTON TOWN drew 1-1 away to Port Vale and picked up goal number 49. After a goal run of 15 league/cup games, PLYMOUTH lost 1-0 away to Rotherham and picked up their 10th blank of the season. WYCOMBE WANDERERS won 3-0 at home to Burton and are now on a total of 56 goals and they have now scored in all fo their last 5 league games.
LEAGUE TWO
Top of the table BROMLEY won 2-1 at home to Accrington and are on a total of 61 goals. MK DONS have moved up to 3rd place after they drew 1-1 away to Cambridge Utd. The Dons are on a total of 70 goals.
In the Play-offs, we now have 3 of the four teams with SWINDON TOWN remaining in 4th place after they drew 1-1 at home to Bristol Rovers. Swindon are on a total of 66 goals and they have now scored in all of their last 14 games. In 5th place we now have NOTTS COUNTY down from three. They lost 1-0 at home to Grimsby and picked up their 7th blank of the season. CREWE have moved into 6th place after they won 2-1 at home to Tranmere and are on a total of 54 goals.
Meanwhile, WALSALL won 2-1 away to Shrewsbury and are on a total of 48 goals. BARNET won 1-0 at home to CHESTERFIELD and are on a total of 47 goals. Chesterfield, after a goal run of 7 league games, picked up their 5th blank of the season. After they had failed to score in their last three games, GILLINGHAM won 1-0 away to Barrow and are on a total of 44 goals.
SCOTTISH LEAGUES
In the Premiership, top of the table HEARTS are now 6 points clear after they won 1-0 at home to Aberdeen and are on a total of 70 goals. RANGERS have remained in 2nd place after they drew 1-1 at home to rivals CELTIC. Rangers are on a total of 71 goals and have now scored in all of their last 6 league/cup games. Celtic in 3rd place are on a total of 67 goals and they have now scored in all of their last 11 league/cup games. HIBERNIAN drew 3-3 away to Dundee and are now on a total of 50 goals.
In the Championship AYR UNITED lost 3-1 away to St Johnstone and picked up goal number 48. ROSS COUNTY who are still bottom of the table, won 2-0 at home to Raith Rovers. County are on a total of 38 goals after they had failed to score in their previous two games.
In League One, STENHOUSEMUIR are still in 2nd place after they won 1-0 at home to COVE RANGERS. Stenhousemuir are on a total of 46 goals while Rangers picked up their 14th blank of the season. EAST FIFE lost 2-0 at home to Alloa and picked up their 11th blank of the season.
In League Two, CLYDE in 3rd place lost 3-1 at home to East Kilbride and are on a total of 51 goals. DUMBARTON drew 1-1 away to Stirling and picked up goal number 38.

Our highest scoring team in our 43rd season is MANCHESTER CITY. They won 10-1 at home against Exeter City in the FA CUP 3rd Round, in Week Twenty-Three.
We have GRAHAM PHILLIPS back at the top on goal difference this weekend. Graham has now been at the top for seven weeks throughout the season. Graham picked up a total of 7 goals from the week. His teams are once again Arsenal, Celtic and MK Dons. Behind him, one goal difference we now have Gary Bolbery as he picks up a total of 8 goals from his teams this weekend. Gury’s teams are Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City.
At the other end at 111 we still have CHARLIE FARLEY(John Wood) there for his 9th consecutive week and now ten over the season. John picked up just 1 goal this weekend. His teams are Cove Rangers, East Fife and Stenhousemuir.
