In Week Twenty-Nine of the competition, we once again had two winners this weekend winning on a score of 10 goals each. One of our players picked up his third win of the season while the other one picked up his second. Our winners are ANDY EYLES and TONY GUY (3) who share the £5 Weekend Prize Money this weekend.
Andy becomes our first player to win three times this season as he won some cash last weekend as well. Andy has picked up a total of 29 goals in the last 2 weeks.
Tony becomes our fourth player to win twice and the last time that he won was a shared win in Week Twenty-Six. With this selection he has been as high as 5th place in Week Twenty-Two. Arsenal is his best team with this one. Our winners' winning teams are,

Over half of us managed to pick up some goals this week, which means that our top five have almost stayed the same as last week’s table. It was ANDY EYLES who picked up the most midweek goals with a total of 5. His teams are Arsenal, Celtic and Plymouth. Out in front again this week we have KEITH RATTLE, now with a total of 80 goals. Keith’s teams are Chelsea, Rangers and Wrexham. In second place, we still have BARBARA BARNES (1) now on a total of 74 goals. In third place, we still have SCOTT THOMSON (1) now with a total of 67 goals. In fourth place we still have RICHIE WILLIAMS but he is now joined by TONY GUY (3) who has moved up from five. Both are on a total of 66 goals. In fifth place we still have MICHAEL FISHER with a total of 64 goals.
WEEKEND RESULTS
We had 5 of our teams without a game this weekend, plus we had another 10 of our teams that failed to score any goals. Although we had a really good weekend last week with plenty of goals, this weekend was a bit slack on the goals front. The average score was six goals last weekend but this weekend it went down to just 4 goals. Well done if your teams picked up more than that. The highest score over the weekend was 5 goals and we had four of our teams to reach that score. They came from CLYDE, NOTTS COUNTY, PLYMOUTH and WREXHAM. PREMIER LEAGUE
Top of the table ARSENAL beat London rivals TOTTENHAM 4-1 away to take their goals tally to 73 goals and they have now scored in all of their last 8 league/cup games. Tottenham are on 41 goals. MANCHESTER CITY are still in 2nd place after they won 2-1 at home to NEWCASTLE UNITED and are on a total of 80 goals. Newcastle picked up their 53rd goal of the season. In 3rd place, ASTON VILLA drew 1-1 at home to Leeds Utd and are on a total of 42 goals. In 4th place CHELSEA drew 1-1 at home to Burnley and are on a total of 68 goals. Manchester United are in 5th place while LIVERPOOL are in 6th place. They won 1-0 away to NOTTINGHAM FOREST and are on a total of 51 goals and have now scored in all of their last 8 league/cup games. Forest picked up their 13th blank of the season and now two games without a goal. After they had failed to score in their last 3 games, BRIGHTON won 2-0 away to Brentford and are on a total of 50 goals. WEST HAM UNITED, who are third from bottom, drew 0-0 at home to AFC BOURNEMOUTH and after they had scored in all of their last 8 league/cup games, picked up their 9th blank of the season. Bournemouth after they had a goal run of 12 league/cup games, picked up their 6th blank of the season. CRYSTAL PALACE won 1-0 at home to bottom of the table WOLVES and are on a total of 35 goals. Palace have now scored in all of their last 7 league/cup games. Wolves picked up their 15th blank of the season and now look set for relegation. SUNDERLAND lost 3-1 at home against Fulham and are on a total of 31 goals.
CHAMPIONSHIP
MIDDLESBROUGH are still in 2nd place after they drew 0-0 at home to Oxford Utd. After a goal run of 8 games, Brough Picked up their 9th blank of the season.
In the Play-offs we still have two of the four teams this weekend as IPSWICH TOWN remain in 4th place, after they lost 5-3 away to WREXHAM. Ipswich are now on a total of 57 goals while Wrexham have moved up to 6th place and have taken their goals tally to 64 goals.
Meanwhile, BRISTOL CITY lost 1-0 away to Swansea and picked up their 12th blank of the season. NORWICH CITY lost 2-1 at home to BIRMINGHAM CITY and are on a total of 53 goals. Birmingham are on a total of 51 goals. LEICESTER CITY drew 2-2 away to Stoke and are now third from bottom with a total of 51 goals. City are on a total of 51 goals. SOUTHAMPTON are on 59 goals after they drew 1-1 at home to Charlton. Southampton have now scored in all of their last 9 league/cup games. WATFORD won 2-0 at home to Derby and are on a total of 45 goals. SHEFFIELD UNITED won 2-1 at home to bottom of the table Sheffield Wednesday and are on a total of 51 goals. They have now scored in all of their last 6 league games.
LEAGUE ONE
Top of the table CARDIFF CITY have lost their sixth league game, 5-2 away to PLYMOUTH. Cardiff are on a total of 70 goals and they have now extended their goal run to 21 league/cup games. Plymouth have taken their goals tally to 53 goals and have extended their goal run to 15 league/cup games.
In the Play-offs, we still have three of the four teams with BOLTON WANDERERS still in 3rd place after they drew 2-2 at home to BLACKPOOL. Bolton are now on a total of 50 goals and have now scored in all of their last 7 league/cup games. Blackpool are on a total of 46 goals. STOCKPORT COUNTY are still in 4th place after they won 4-2 at home to Wigan and after they had failed to score in their last two games, County are now on a total of 52 goals. HUDDERSFIELD TOWN are still in 6th place after they won 2-1 at home against Barnsley and after they had failed to score in their last two games, are on a total of 59 goals.
Meanwhile, WYCOMBE WANDERERS won 3-1 at home to Stevenage and are on a total of 53 goals. LUTON TOWN drew 1-1 at home to Burton and picked up goal number 48. LEYTON ORIENT won 2-1 away to Northampton and are on a total of 44 goals. PETERBOROUGH UNITED drew 3-3 at home to Exeter and are now on a total of 51 goals.
LEAGUE TWO
Top of the table BROMLEY drew 0-0 to Harrogate and after a goal run of 6 league/cup games, picked up their 5th blank of the season. With their biggest win of the season, NOTTS COUNTY have moved up to 3rd place after they won 5-0 at home to Tranmere and have now taken their goals tally up to 54 goals.
In the Play-offs, we now have all four teams with SWINDON TOWN moving down from three to 4th place after they lost 2-1 at home to CREWE. Swindon are on a total of 65 goals and they have now scored in all of their last 13 games. Crewe are on a total of 52 goals and are now in 6th place. Mk Dons remained in 5th place after they had no game over the weekend. CHESTERFIELD have moved up to 7th place after they drew 1-1 away to Crawley and are on a total of 54 goals and they have now scored in all of their last 7 league/cup games.
Meanwhile, BARNET lost 4-1 away to Colchester and picked up their 45th goal of the season. GILLINGHAM lost 3-0 at home to Oldham and picked up their 8th blank scoresheet and they have failed to score in all of their last three games.
SCOTTISH LEAGUES
In the Premiership, top of the table HEARTS won 1-0 at home against Falkirk and are on a total of 69 goals. RANGERS have remained in 2nd place after they drew 2-2 away to bottom of the table Livingston. Rangers are on a total of 69 goals and have now scored in all of their last 5 league/cup games. In 3rd place we still have CELTIC after they lost their seventh league game, 2-1 at home to HIBERNIAN. Celtic are on a total of 65 goals and they have now scored in all of their last 10 league/cup games. Hibs are on a total of 47 goals.
In the Championship AYR UNITED drew 0-0 at home to ROSS COUNTY and picked up their 8th blank of the season. County, who are bottom of the table, picked up their 11th blank of the season and now two in a row.
In League One, STENHOUSEMUIR are still in 2nd place after they drew 1-1 away to Inverness CT and are on a total of 45 goals. EAST FIFE lost 3-1 away to Peterhead and are on a total of 31 goals. COVE RANGERS drew 1-1 at home to Kelty Hearts and are on a total of 37 goals and they have now scored in all of their last 5 league games.
In League Two, It’s 50 goals for CLYDE as they won 5-0 at home to Edinburgh City. DUMBARTON .lost 3-1 away to East Kilbride and picked up goal number 37 after they had failed to score in their previous two league games.

Our worst performing team is WOLVES this weekend, as they have picked up 15 blank score sheets in their 33 league/cup games.
Our highest scoring team in our 43rd season is MANCHESTER CITY. They won 10-1 at home against Exeter City in the FA CUP 3rd Round, in Week Twenty-Three.
The top ten and the rest of the table have settled down a bit this weekend. The race to become our 43rd Champion is still wide open.
