In Week Seven of the competition we had three winners to share the £5 weekend prize money. That now means that we have had a total of 11 winners this season.
Our winners are BAILEY MORAN, our 1987/88 and 2011/12 Champion PHIL REEVE and JAMIE WOOD all winning on a score of 10 goals each, which is their personal best weekend score.
Bailey started with Golden Goals in the 2020/21 season where he finished in 68th place out of 116 with a total of 246 goals. Last season he finished in 30th place with 292 goals. This season Bailey has been as high as 11th place in Weeks Three and Four. Celtic is his best team.
Phil has been with us for the full 43 seasons. In the first season of 1983/84 he finished in 15th place out of 25 with a total of 256 goals. Phil first became Champion in the 1987/88 and then again in 2011/12. Last season, Phil finished in 69th place out of 114 with 261 goals. This season Phil is at his highest position this week and his best team Bolton.
Jamie started with us in the 2015/16 season where he finished in the winning frame in 12th place out of 119 with a total of 278 goals. Last season, Jamie finished in 92nd place out of 114 with 40 goals. This season, Jamie is at his highest position this week with Celtic being his best team. Here are their winning teams.

We had just 8 of us that picked up a goal or two, which means that our top five remain about the same as last week. In the lead this week we still have EMMAF with a total of 29 goals. In second place we have DAVID BARRETT with 28 goals. In third place we still have BISH-BASH-BOSH (Keith Rattle) with a total of 27 goals. In fourth place down from three we have HAYLEY ADKINS on a total of 25 goals. In fifth place down from four we have our 2005/06 Champion, KEAMUS SETNA with 20 goals.

With a near full weekend fixture, we had 4 teams without a game over the weekend, with another 9 of our teams that failed to score any goals. The average weekend score shot up from four last weekend to 6 goals this weekend, so well done if your teams picked up more than that.

Top of the table LIVERPOOL have won their fifth consecutive league game 2-1 at home to Everton. Liverpool are on a total of 11 goals and have now scored in all 5 league games. BRIGHTON drew 2-2 at home to TOTTENHAM and are on 12 goals while Tottenham are on 10 goals. NOTTINGHAM FOREST drew 1-1 away to Burnley and picked up goal number 7. WEST HAM lost 2-1 at home to CRYSTAL PALACE and both teams are on a total of 7 goals. WOLVES are still bottom of the table without a win as they go down 3-1 at home to Leeds Utd. Wolves are on 6 goals. MANCHESTER UNITED won their second league game 2-1 at home against CHELSEA. United are on a total of 8 goals while Chelsea are on 10 goals. CHAMPIONSHIP
Middlesbrough are still top after they have won 5 of their 6 league games. BRISTOL CITY lost their first league game 3-1 at home against Oxford Utd. City are in third place with a total of 15 goals. BRIMINGHAM CITY after they had failed to score in their last 3 games, won 1-0 at home against Swansea. City are on a total of 7 goals. After they had scored in all of their first 6 games, LEICESTER CITY picked up their first blank score sheet as they drew 0-0 at home to Coventry. It’s 10 goals for PRESTON NE after they won 1-0 away to Derby. SOUTHAMPTON lost 3-1 away to Hill and are on a total of 11 goals. NORWICH lost 3-2 at home to WREXHAM and are on a total of 11 goals while Wrexham take their goals tally to 17 and have now scored in all of their 8 league/cup games. SHEFFIELD UNITED have now lost all of their six league games as they lost 1-0 at home to Charlton. United are rock bottom of the league and have picked up their fifth consecutive blank score sheet.
LEAGUE ONE
CARDIFF CITY are down to fourth place in the table after they lost 3-1 at home against Bradford. Cardiff are on a total of 18 goals and have now scored in all of their last 8 league/cup games. BLACKPOOL have won their second league game 1-0 at home to Barnsley. Blackpool picked up goal number 8. BOLTON are on a total of 17 goals as they won 4-1 at home to Wigan. Bolton with their biggest win to date, are on a total of 17 goals and have now scored in all of their last 9 league/cup games. LUTON TOWN lost 3-1 away to Lincoln and are on a total of 11 goals. HUDDERSFIELD TOWN drew 0-0 at home to Burton and after a goal run of 10 league/cup games, picked up their first blank of the season. PLYMOUTH lost 1-0 at home to PETERBOROUGH UNITED and picked up their fourth blank score sheet. Borough have won their second consecutive game and are on a total of 8 goals. LEYTON ORIENT lost 2-1 away to Reading and are on a total of 11 goals. STOCKPORT COUNTY won 1-0 away to Rotherham and are on a total of 17 goals. LEAGUE TWO
GILLINGHAM are back on top after they won 3-1 away to Newport. Gillingham are now on a total of 16 goals and have now extended their goal run to 10 league/cup games. WALSALL are in third place after they picked up their biggest result of the season 4-2 at home against Tranmere. Walsall have taken their goals tally to 12 goals and have now scored in all of their last 5 games. BARNET picked up their biggest result to date after they won 3-0 at home to Grimsby and are on 13 goals and have now scored in all of their last 7 league/cup games. CREWE lost again 1-0 away to Barrow and picked up their third blank of the season. BROMLEY drew 2-2 at home to CHESTERFIELD and are on a total of 16 goals. Chesterfield are on a total of 14 goals. SCOTTISH LEAGUES
In the Scottish League Cup Quarter-finals, we had three of the eight teams. After they had failed to score in their last 2 league games, RANGERS are through to the semi-finals after they won 2-0 at home to HIBERNIAN. Rangers are on a total of 9 goals while Hibs after a goal run of 5 league games, picked up their first blank scoresheet. CELTIC are also through as they win 4-0 away to Partick. Celtic have taken their goals tally up to 16 goals.
In the Championship, ROSS COUNTY have still yet to win a game as they lost 2-1 at home to Queens Park. County, are on a total of 19 goals and have now scored in all of their last 5 league games.
In League One, STENHOUSEMUIR are still top after they picked up their biggest win of the season, 3-1 at home to Peterhead. Stenhousemuir are now on a total of 12 goals. EAST FIFE drew 1-1 at home to Montrose and are on a total of 14 goals and have now scored in all of their last 5 league games. Bottom of the table COVE RANGERS are still unable to win after they lost again 2-1 away to Alloa. Rangers after they had failed to score in their last two league games, are now on a total of 10 goals.
In League Two, CLYDE won their second league game 2-1 at home against Edinburgh City and are on a total of 17 goals. DUMBARTON drew 1-1 away to East Kilbride and are on a total of 16 goals and have now scored in all of their last 8 league/cup games.

Our highest scoring team in our 43rd Season is ROSS COUNTY. They won 8-0 at home against Edinburgh City in the first round group stages of the Scottish League Cup in Week One.
DAVID BARRETT is at the top again this weekend for the seventh consecutive weekend as his teams picked up 6 goals at the weekend. David’s teams are Celtic, Hearts and Liverpool. He is now 5 goals clear of Hayley Adkins in second place as she picked up a total of 3 goals from the weekend. Hayley’s teams are Hearts, Liverpool and Manchester City.
At the other end at 111 we still have ANN WELLARD with her fourth consecutive weekend. Ann picked up 6 goals from the week. Ann has Aston Villa, Celtic and Sheffield United.
