In Week Four of the competition we had no prize money this week due to the World Cup qualifying games being played. That means that next week we will have our very first Rollover of the season worth £10. MANDYB picked up the most number of goals with six. They came from Gillingham 2 and Plymouth 4. Her third team is Liverpool.
100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT
We had none of our teams in action this week, due to the World Cup qualifying rounds. That means that our top five remains the same as last week. In the lead this week we still have EMMAF with a total of 29 goals. In second place we have DAVID BARRETT with 28 goals. In third place we still have HAYLEY ADKINS and BISH-BASH-BOSH (Keith Rattle) still both on a total of 25 goals. In fourth place we have our 2005/06 Champion, KEAMUS SETNA with 20 goals. In fifth place we have GUY DOWSETT (1) with a total of 19 goals.
WEEKEND RESULTS
We had a very limited weekend fixture with only a total of 17 of our teams in action over the weekend. Out of them we had just one of our teams that failed to score any goals. So a really good weekend if you had any teams playing. The highest score over the weekend was 4 goals and they came from League One where PLYMOUTH picked up their biggest result of the season, 4-2 at home to STOCKPORT COUNTY. Plymouth have taken their goals tally to 11 goals while County are on 15 goals.
Plymouth became our 80th English team to join Golden Goals. Their first season was in 1990/91 when they finished the season with a total of 59 goals. Their highest end of season score came in the 2022/23 with 83 goals. Last time out in 2023/24 they finished with 68 goals. This is their 18th appearance with us and over the years they have scored a total of 1104 goals which gives them an average score of 61 goals per season to date. This season they have a total of 5 votes and have picked up a total of three blank score sheets after 9 league/cup games. LEAGUE ONE
Cardiff City are still top of the table after they had no game over the weekend. HUDDERSFIELD TOWN are in third place after they won 3-2 at home against bottom of the table PETERBOROUGH UNITED. Huddersfield have kept their 100% scoring record after a total of 9 league/cup games. They are on a total of 17 goals. BOLTON won 3-0 at home against AFC Wimbledon and are now on a total of 12 goals, and they have now scored in all of their last 7 league/cup games. LEYTON ORIENT picked up their biggest result to date after they won 3-2 away to Port Vale. Orient are now on a total of 9 goals. WYCOMBE have finally won their first league game 2-0 at home against Mansfield. Wycombe are on a total of 9 goals.
LEAGUE TWO
GILLINGHAM have remained top of the table after they drew 2-2 away to BROMLEY. Gillingham are on a total of 12 goals and they have scored in all of their 8 league/cup games. Bromley are on a total of 14 and they have now scored in all of their last 8 league/cup games. SWINDON TOWN are now in second place after they won 3-1 away to Barrow. Swindon are now on a total of 15 goals. WALSALL are in third place as they won 1-0 at home against CHESTERFIELD. Walsall are on a total of 7 goals while Chesterfield picked up their second blank score sheet. BARNET lost 3-1 at home to Shrewsbury and picked up goal number 8 and have now scored in all of their last 5 league/cup games. After they had failed to score in their last two games, CREWE drew 1-1 away to Colchester and are on a total of 12 goals. MK DONS lost 3-2 at home to Grimsby are on a total of 12 goals. NOTTS COUNTY won 1-0 at home to Fleetwood and are on a total of 12 goals and they have now scored in all of their last 5 league/cup games.
SCOTTISH LEAGUES
In the Championship, only one result this week and they came from ROSS COUNTY have still yet to win, after they lost 2-1 at home to Arbroath. County are on a total of 17 goals.

Our worst performing team is PETERBOROUGH UNITED this weekend, as they have picked up 4 blank score sheets in their 8 league/cup games of the season. They have scored 5 goals.
Our highest goal scoring team in our 43rd Season are ROSS COUNTY. They won 8-0 at home against Edinburgh City in the first round group stages of the Scottish League Cup in Week One.
DAVID BARRETT is at the top again this weekend for the fifth consecutive weekend even though he had none of his teams in action over the weekend. David’s teams are Celtic, Hearts and Liverpool. He is still 3 goals clear of Hayley Adkins in second place as she also had none of her teams playing. Hayley’s teams are Hearts, Liverpool and Manchester City.
At the other end at 111 we still have ANN WELLARD with her second consecutive weekend as she picked up her second consecutive blank weekend score sheet and now three for the season. Ann has Aston Villa, Celtic and Sheffield United.
