In Week Thirty-Four of the competition, we did not have any prize money this week due to the internationals being played.
100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT
Only two players managed to pick up some goals this week, which means that our top six has stayed the same as last week’s table once again. Still out in front again this week we have KEITH RATTLE, with a total of 90 goals and still needs just 10 goals to win the cash. Keith’s teams are Chelsea, Rangers and Wrexham. In second place, we still have BARBARA BARNES (1) on a total of 82 goals. In third place, we still have SCOTT THOMSON (1) on a total of 77 goals. In fourth place, we still have MICHAEL FISHER on a total of 76 goals. In fifth place, we still have JOHN FILTNESS, our 2023/24 joint Champion and TONY GUY (3) both with a total of 75 goals. In sixth place, we have RICHIE WILLIAMS with a total of 73 goals.
WEEKEND RESULTS
We had a total of 16 of our teams in action this weekend plus we had another 4 of our teams that failed to score any goals. Due to the international games being played over the week, we were very low on goals. The highest score over the weekend was 4 goals, and we had just one of our teams that reached that score. They were from WYCOMBE WANDERERS. Let’s get on with the results to see how your teams have performed this weekend.
LEAGUE ONE
Cardiff City are still in second place after having no game this weekend.
In the Play-offs, we have just two of the four teams, with Bolton Wanderers still in third place and STOCKPORT COUNTY have moved up to fifth place after they won 3-0 at home to AFC Wimbledon. County are now on a total of 60 goals and have now scored in all of their last 5 league games.
Meanwhile, BLACKPOOL won 1-0 at home to Burton and picked up goal number 53. After they had scored in all of their previous 8 league/cup games, LEYTON ORIENT drew 0-0 away to Exeter and picked up their 11th blank of the season. WYCOMBE WANDERERS won 4-0 at home against Port Vale. Wycombe have taken their goals tally to 66 goals.
LEAGUE TWO
Top of the table BROMLEY lost 2-1 away to Barrow and are on a total of 66 goals. MK DONS are still in second place after they lost 1-0 away to Salford City. The Dons, after a goal run of 7 league/cup games, picked up their 6th blank of the season. NOTTS COUNTY have moved up to third place after they won 2-0 away to Harrogate and are on a total of 69 goals.
In the Play-offs, SWINDON TOWN are still in fifth place after they drew 1-1 at home to Fleetwood. Swindon are on a total of 73 goals, and they have now scored in all of their last 19 league/cup games. CREWE have moved up to seventh place after they won 2-1 at home against Oldham. Crewe are on a total of 62 goals.
Meanwhile, BARNET won 1-0 at home to Cambridge Utd and are on a total of 53 goals. WALSALL drew 1-1 away to Colchester Utd and are on a total of 55 goals. GILLINGHAM lost 2-0 away to Crawley and picked up their 11th blank of the season. They have now scored just one goal in their last four games.
SCOTTISH LEAGUES
In League One, STENHOUSEMUIR are still in 2nd place after they drew 2-2 away to EAST FIFE. Stenhousemuir are on a total of 53 goals and have now scored in all of their last 8 league games. Fife are on a total of 36 goals.
In League Two, CLYDE in third place lost 2-0 away to Elgin City and after a goal run of 5 league games, picked up their 7th blank of the season. DUMBARTON drew 2-2 at home to Forfar and are now on a total of 48 goals. They have now scored in all of their last 6 league games.
Our BEST three teams are

Our WORST three teams are
SUNDERLAND (35) EAST FIFE (36) NOTTINGHAM FOREST (36) Total of 107 goals.
Our best performing team is MANCHESTER UNITED after they have now scored in all of their last 20 league/cup games. With a total of just 59 goals, their average score is 1.7 goals per game.
Our worst performing team is BRISTOL CITY this weekend, as they have picked up 16 blank score sheets out of their 43 league/cup games.
Our highest scoring team in our 43rd season is MANCHESTER CITY. They won 10-1 at home against Exeter City in the FA CUP 3rd Round, in Week Twenty-Three.
We have GRAHAM PHILLIPS still at the top this weekend for his 10th week of the season. Graham is still four goals clear. His teams are Arsenal, Celtic and MK Dons. Behind him, we still have Gary Bolbery from his teams of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City.
At the other end at 111, we still have CHARLIE FARLEY(John Wood) there for his 13th consecutive week and now fourteen over the season. John picked up 4 goals this weekend. His teams are Cove Rangers, East Fife and Stenhousemuir. But there’s good news for John as he is now moving up our losers’ league to 43rd place. He has beaten John Nicholls total of 131 goals from the 2020/21 season.
