At last DONCASTER
have played their game against on-league side Weston-Super-Mare in the first
round of the FA CUP. Doncaster won
4-1 away and with their biggest score of the season, they are now on a total of
22 goals.
This is Doncaster’s 4th
season with Golden Goals and they first started way back in our 2003/04
Season where they finished on their highest score to date with 84 goals. Last
season they finished on a grand total of 43 goals. Over the four seasons they are now averaging a
score of 53 goals per season.
SHEFFIELD UNITED
had to have a replay against Crewe as they drew 0-0 in the first game. This
time round they made sure of a place into the next round by winning 2-0 at
home. United are now on 31 goals.
Sheffield United are in their 15th season and
they first started with us back in our 1990/91 season, but we had to wait till the
2011/12 before they finished on their highest score of 104 goals. Last season
they finished on a total of 66 goals. Over the fifteen seasons they are
averaging a score of 68 goals per season.
