Our Teams Were Doing So Well

In the English Premiership MANCHESTER UNITED had a chance to catch up to the big boys this week but they failed with a goalless draw with SOUTHAMPTON away. Although United have now had a total of nine blank score sheets this season, they have now scored just two goals in their last five games. Southampton fair no better by picking up their fifteenth blank score sheet they have also scored just two goals in their last five games.

In the Championship Play-off Semi-final 2nd leg, SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY drew their first leg game against Huddersfield 0-0 and they drew again in the second leg 1-1 after extra time. Wednesday will remain in the Championship next season as they go out 4-3 on penalties. Wednesday finished their season on a total of 62 goals.

In the Scottish Premiership second placed ABERDEEN beat third place RANGERS 2-1 away to take their goals tally to 82 while rangers hit goal number 84. It’s 65 goals for St JOHNSTONE as they win 1-0 at home to Hearts.

In the League One play-off 1st leg, PETERHEAD lost 2-1 away to Forfar. Peterhead are now on a total of 57 goals.
