In Week Six of the competition we have had our eleventh winner of the
season and he won our first Rollover of the season with a Cash Jackpot worth
£12 on 12 goals. Our winner is BOB SOPER who has been with the competition since
the 2000/01 Season. This season Bob has picked up two blank score sheets and
this is his highest score to date. Last season Bob finished in 70th
place with a total of 285 goals. He did not win any cash last season so this
makes it a bit sweeter with this weekends Rollover. His teams are

There was 113 of you
that picked up the four goals from Celtic and there has been a change in the
race for the cash.
Leading the pack we still have JULIE
SOMERVILLE who has Aston Villa, Celtic and Reading with a total of 25
goals. In Second place we have TONY GUY (2) and DAVE WOOD both up from third place on 23 goals. In joint third place all on 22
goals we have SIMON
DICKINSON, MATT DORAN, GRAHAM PHILLIPS and JAMES PLATT all moving up from fourth place. On 21 goals in joint
fourth place we have PHIL FRANCKSEN,
MIKE PEPPERRELL and RICKY WOOD.
WEEKEND
RESULTS
This weekend we had three
of our teams with out a game and another eighteen teams that failed to score
any goals. But the average score fell slightly to 4 goals. The highest score
that we had over the weekend came from two of our teams. From the English Premiership
we had MANCHESTER
CITY and in the Championship it was LEEDS UNITED .
Manchester City scored their highest
score of the season as they win 5-0 at home to LIVERPOOL. City take
their goals total up to 10 goals and they have now scored in all of their four
games this season. Liverpool picked up their first blank score sheet. Leeds United won 5-0 at home to BURTON
ALBION to take their goals tally to 21 goals. They have now scored fourteen
goals in their last four games. Burton picked up their third blank of the
season.
PREMIERSHIP
MANCHESTER UNITED are now joint top with Manchester
City after they drew 2-2 away to Stoke. United have now scored in all of
their four games played and they have a total of 12 goals. In third place this
weekend we have CHELSEA after they won 2-1 away to LEICESTER CITY.
Chelsea have now scored 8 goals in four games while Leicester picked up goal
number ten. In fifth place is TOTTENHAM. They picked up their highest
score of the season as they won 3-0 away to EVERTON. Tottenham arenow on
7 goals while Everton picked up their second consecutive blank score sheet.
After a the game dry spell for goals, ARSENAL are now on 7 goals as they
win 3-0 at home to BOURNEMOUTH who picked up their third blank of the
season. WESTBROM lost 3-1 away to
Brighton but they are now on a total of 7 goals. It’s 6 goals for NEWCASTLE
as they win 1-0 away to Swansea. CRYSTAL PALACE lost 1-0 away to Burnley
and that was their fourth blank and now two in a row.
CHAMPIONSHIP
CARDIFF have remained top here after they
drew 1-1 away to FULHAM. Cardiff still have a 100% scoring record after
a total of eight league/cup games. They are now on a total of 14 goals. Fulham
picked up goal number seven. With Leeds United in second place WOLVES
are right behind them as they picked up their 11th goal of the
season with a 1-0 home win against Millwall. IPSWICH are fourth as they
lost 2-1 away to QUEENS PARK RANGERS. Ipswich are on 13 goals while
Rangers are on 10. SHEFFIELD UNITED are in fifth place after they won
2-1 away to SUNDERLAND. United are now on 11 goals while Sunderland
picked up goal number nine. MIDDLESBROUGH follow as they picked up
another three goals after they won 3-0 away to BOLTON. Brough are now on
a total of 10 goals while Bolton picked up their third blank and now two in a
row. BRENTFORD picked up their fourth blank and now two in a row as they
drew 0-0 away to ASTON VILLA who picked up their second. NORWICH
won 1-0 at home to BIRMINGHAM to take their goals tally to 14.
Birmingham picked up their fourth blank and now no goals in their last two
games. READING picked up their third blank after they lost 1-0 at home
to Bristol City.
LEAGUE ONE
CHARLTON have moved in to second place
behind Shrewsbury after they won 2-1 at home to SOUTHEND. Charlton
are now on 16 goals while Southend hit goal number seven. PETERBOROUGH have
moved down to third place after they lost 3-1 at home to BRADFORD who
are now in fourth place. Both
teams are now on a total of 14 goals. SCUNTHORPE moved down to fifth
place as they drew 0-0 at home to Blackpool. Scunthorpe have now had two blank
score sheets in eight games played. PORTSMOUTH are now on 7 goals as
they win 2-0 away to AFC Wimbledon. FLEETWOOD drew 2-2 at home against
Oldham and are now on 9 goals. DONCASTER have picked up their fourth
blank and now no goals in their last three games as they lost 1-0 away to
Northampton. MK DONS have picked up another single goal as they win 1-0
away to PLYMOUTH. Mk Dons are now on 6 goals while Plymouth picked up
their third blank score sheet. It’s 13 goals for BLACKBURN as they win
3-0 away to Rochdale. WIGAN have picked up their first blank score sheet
after a run of six games as they lost 1-0 away to leaders Shrewsbury.
LEAGUE TWO
EXETER have remained in top place here once again as they win 3-1 away
to FOREST GREEN. Exeter after seven games are now on a total of 12goals
while Forest Green are on nine. COLCHESTER on 3-1 at home to Crawley and
that takes their goals tally to 11 goals while PORT VALE lost 1-0 away
to COVENTRY to pick up their fourth blank in a row and now rock bottom
of the league while Coventry are now on 7 goals after a spell of three blank
score sheets. LUTON picked up their fourth blank of the season and now
two in a row after they lost 3-0 at home to Swindon. MANSFIELD have
picked up their highest score to date after they won 4-1 at home to Grimsby.
Mansfield are now on a total of 12 goals. It’s 10 goals for LINCOLN CITY
as they win 2-1 away to Stevenage.
SCOTTISH LEAGUES
In the Premiership Celtic
are joint top with ABERDEEN after their big win on Friday night.
Aberdeen drew their game 0-0 away to Hearts over the weekend. That was
Aberdeen’s first blank of the season. RANGERS are now in fourth place as
they win 4-1 at home to bottom of the table Dundee. In the Championship, FALKIRK are second from bottom as they
drew 1-1 away to Brechin but they are now on 19 goals. In league One RAITH ROVERS are top as they win 2-1 at home
to Ary.Rovers are on 23 goals ans still our best team. They have scored in all
of their last eight games. In League Two STENHOUSEMUIR are in third
place as they win 1-0 at home to Cowdenbeath. That now gives Stenhousemuir a
total of 11 goals. PETERHEAD are right behind them as they drew 1-1 at
home to Montrose. Peterhead are now on a total of 16 goals to keep their nine
game goal run in tack. ELGIN CITY
picked up their fifth blank score sheet as they lost 1-0 at home to Annan.

Our Best
team is still FALKIRK after they have scored in
all of their ten League and Cup games with 19 goals.
ELGIN CITY have
picked up the most number of blank score sheets with five in nine games played
to date.
Our highest
goal scoring team in our 35th Season is LUTON from League Two. They picked up our highest score in week
one as they win 8-2 at home to Yeovil in their first league game of the season.
We have a new leader this weekend
and they are GUY DOWSETT with his
second combination. Guy has become the third player to hit the top spot this
season with the combination of Celtic, Leeds Utd and Manchester Utd. He is two
goals clear of last weeks leader Gary Bolbery.
At the other end at 149 we have JOHN DOVE this weekend who also becomes
our third player to arrive there this season. John’s combination only picked
him up a total of three goals from his combination of Arsenal, Everton and
Liverpool.
