We had a really cracking Good
Friday where three of our teams picked up four goals each. In the
English Championship, WOLVES have remained top as they win
2-1 away to MIDDLESBROUGH. Wolves
are now on a total of 76 goals while Brough picked up goal number 63. CARDIFF are still in second place as they
win 3-1 at home to BURTON ALBION. Cardiff
are now on 68 goals while poor old Burton are rock bottom and that is their 33rd
goal of the season. BRENTFORD are on
63 goals as they drew 1-1 at home against SHEFFIELD
UNITED who are now on 58. SUNDERLAND
picked up their highest result of the season as they win 4-1 away to Derby.
Sunderland take their goals tally to 45 after a three game dry spell. LEEDS UNITED are on 65 goals as they
win 2-1 at home to BOLTON who are
now on 40 goals. NORWICH lost 2-0 at
home to FULHAM to pick up their eleventh
blank score sheet while Fulham now have a total of 70 goals. After a goal run
of nine games, QUEENS PARK RANGERS
picked up their eleventh blank score sheet as they lost 1-0 away to READING. Reading are now on 54 goals.
In League One, WIGAN have
moved back on top after they won 3-0 at home to Oldham. Wigan are now on a
total of 88 goals. FLEETWOOD TOWN
are now on 57 goals as they win 1-0 away to AFC Wimbledon. DONCASTER are on 61 goals as they win 2-1 away to Blackpool. CHARLTON won 4-0 away to Northampton
and they are now on a total of 57 goals. SCUNTHORPE
drew 1-1 away to Oxford to give them a total of 61 goals. PLYMOUTH won 4-0 at home to SOUTHEND
and they are now on 53 goals. Southend picked up blank number fourteen. PETERBOROUGH drew 1-1 away to Rotherham
and that is their 78th goal of the season.
In League Two, COLCHESTER beat
LUTON 2-1 at home and they are now
on a total of 50 goals while Luton are on 89. LINCOLN CITY won 3-2 at home against EXETER and they are now on 57 goals to Exeter’s 61. MANSFIELD lost 1-0 at home to top of
the table Accrington and that is their eleventh blank and now two in a row. COVENTRY drew 1-1 away to Newport
County and they are now on 58 goals. PORT
VALE after a two game dry spell, are now on 49 goals as they win 2-1 at
home to Chesterfield.
