Week Six

In Week Six of the competition, there was no Weekend Prize Money due to the Euro qualifying rounds being played over the weekend. So next weekend we will have our first Rollover of the season worth £10. It was KEITH RATTLE that picked up the highest score over the weekend with 3 goals. His teams are Arsenal, Celtic and Sutton United.

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT

With just one of our teams in midweek action in which they failed to score, the leaders have remained the same as last week. In the lead we still have our 2015/16 Champion RICHARD WILLIAMS with 27 goals. In second place we have CHARLIE FARLEY (John Wood) with a total of 25 goals. In third place we have MALCOLM STUBBS with 16 goals. In fourth place with 14 goals we have MIKE LIDDLE. In fifth place with 13 goals we have SAMUEL STEPHENS. In sixth place we have CHRIS BOLBERY our 2017/18 Champion, BAILEY MORAN and STEVE STUBBS all with a total of 12 goals.

WEEKEND RESULTS

We had just 6 of our teams in action over the weekend and the great news is that they all scored goals. That means that only 17 players picked up some goals this weekend. Most players picked up their first weekend blank score sheet and some picked up their second blank of the season. Here are the results.

LEAGUE TWO

NOTTS COUNTY are down to second place this week after they drew 1-1 away to MK DONS. County are now on a total of 13 goals while the Dons are on 14 goals and have now scored in all of their last six league/cup games. WREXHAM have now won their second league game with a 2-1 at home to Doncaster. Wrexham are on a total of 14 goals and a goal run of six league/cup games. AFC WIMBLEDON lost 2-1 at home to Stockport and are on a total of 13 goals and a goal run of eight league/cup games. SUTTON UNITED lost 5-3 away to Swindon and they have taken their goals tally to 13. SALFORD CITY lost 2-1 at home to Walsall and are on a total of 12 goals.

Our BEST three teams this week

FALKIRK (22) ROSS COUNTY (22) NORWICH (16) Total of 60 goals

Our WORST three teams are

EAST FIFE (5) FULHAM (5) MANCHESTER UNITED (5)  Total of 15 goals

Our Best performing team is BARNSLEY after they have now scored in all of their 7 league/cup games. They have a total of 16 goals which gives them an average score of 2 goals per game.

Our worst performing team is EAST FIFE this weekend as they have picked up six blank score sheets in their 9 league/cup games.

Our highest goal scoring team in our 41st Season are BARNSLEY. They won 7-0 at home to Port Vale in the first league game of the season in Week One.

RICHARD WILLIAMS our 2015/16 Champion is at the top for his fifth consecutive weekend even though he had none of his teams in action this week. Richards teams are Falkirk, Manchester City and Ross County.  He is still way out in front and still 13 goals clear of Charlie Farley (John Wood) in second place with Kilmarnock, Ross County and Stenhousemuir. Charlie Farley also had none of his teams in action over the week.

At the other end at 110 we still have STALKY (2) (Bob Burgin) for his second week there. Bob also had none of his teams in action this week. His teams of Celtic, Fulham and Newcastle.

With hardly any of our players teams in action over the weekend, here are the top ten.
