In Week Eighteen of the competition we had four winners to share the prize money of £5, all won on a score of 10 goals each. One of them has become our 19th winner of the season and they are ANDREW HAMMOND. Our other winners are CHRIS NUNN picking up his third win of the season while RICKY MILES and ALICE STUBBS our 2012/13 Champions with her second selection, both pick up their second win of the season.
Andrew is in his very first season with Golden Goals. The highest that Andrew has been is 65th place in Week Five. He has picked up a total of four blank score sheets to date and his best team is Liverpool netting 37 goals of his 103.
Chris has now won in Week Three and in our first rollover in Week Seven. Since then this is his highest weekend score to date and he has now had just one blank score sheet. His best team is Wrexham.
Ricky last won in Week Five with another shared weekend. Since then he has now had a total of four blank weekend score sheets and Liverpool is his best team.
Alice has won with her second selection once again. She last won in Week Seven again with a share win. Alice has had a total of three blank weekend score sheets to date. Our winners winning teams are

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT
Well over half of us have picked up goals in midweek and the race for the cash has changed this week. The highest amount of goals went to SAMUEL STEPHENS with a total of 7 goals. They came from Leeds United and Middlesbrough. His third team is Manchester City.
In first place this week we still have ANN WELLARD but she is now joined with our 2017/18 Champion CHRIS BOLBERY up from three and TONY KING up from second place. They are all on a total of 42 goals. In second place up from four we have MARK GREGORY with a total of 41 goals. In third place we have ANDY EYLES up from fourth place and BAILEY MORAN up from five. Both are now with a total of 38 goals. In fourth place we have PETER PORTER up from fifth place with JAMES SOMERVILLE up from sixth place. Both are on a total of 37 goals. In fifth place we CHARLIE FARLEY back in with a total of 34 goals.
WEEKEND RESULTS
We had 37 of our teams in action over the weekend due to fixtures or the bad weather we are having. Out of the ones that did play 5 failed to score any goals. We had a really good weekend for goals as the average score went up from four goals last weekend to 7 goals this weekend.
The highest score that we had came from Premier League where LIVERPOOL won 4-3 at home against FULHAM. With their biggest result of the season, Liverpool have kept their 100% scoring record after 16 league/cup games and have taken their goals total to 37. Fulham are now on a total of 22 goals.
Liverpool are one of our original teams from the 1983/84 Season and they finished on a total of 103 goals. Liverpool have scored 100 or more goals in seven of the 41 Seasons. Their highest score was in the 1985/86 Season with 127. Last season they finished on a total of 81 goals. Liverpool have now scored a total of 3421 goals which gives them an average score of 83 goals to date. This season they have a total of 29 votes.
FA CUP Second Round
We had just 5 of our teams that managed to play in this weekend. Out of them only 2 have made it through to the next round. They are PETERBOROUGH who won 2-1 at home to Doncaster and they have taken their goals total to 49 goals. They have now scored in all of their last 20 league/cup games. SUTTON UNITED won 3-0 at home against non-league Horsham and are now on a total of 35 goals.They have now scored in all of their last 11 league/cup games. WREXHAM won 3-0 at home to non-league Yeovil Town and are on a total of 44 goals. Teams that went out are CHARLTON who lost 2-0 away to Gillingham and picked up their fourth blank of the season after they had scored in their last 6 league/cup games. READING lost 2-1 away to non-league Eastleigh and picked up goal number 32 and have now scored in all of their last 8 league/cup games.
PREMIER LEAGUE
ARSENAL have remained top of the league after they won 2-1 at home to Wolves. Arsenal are on a total of 31 goals. Liverpool have moved up to second place after their win. MANCHESTER CITY are down to third place after they drew 3-3 at home to TOTTENHAM. City are on a total of 36 goals and have now scored in all of their last 6 league/cup games. Tottenham are now on a total of 29 goals and have kept their 100% scoring record after 15 league/cup games. NOTTINGHAM FOREST lost 1-0 at home against Everton and that is their fifth blank of the season. NEWCASTLE won 1-0 at home to MANCHESTER UNITED and picked up goal number 36. United picked up their fifth blank of the season. WEST HAM drew 1-1 at home to London rivals CRYSTAL PALACE. West Ham are on a total of 28 goals while Palace are on 18 goals. CHELSEA won 3-2 at home to BRIGHTON and are on a total of 30 goals while Brighton are also on a total of 30 goals and they have now scored in all of their last 8 league/cup games. BOURNEMOUTH drew 2-2 at home to ASTON VILLA and are on a total of 22 goals while Villa are on a total of 34 goals.
CHAMPIONSHIP
LEICESTER CITY are still top here after they won 2-1 away to West Brom. Leicester are on a total of 39 goals. IPSWICH TOWN are in second place after they won 2-1 at home to Coventry. Ipswich are on a total of 49 goals. LEEDS UNITED won 3-2 at home to MIDDLESBROUGH and have taken their goals tally up to 37 goals and have now scored in all of their last 6 league/cup games. Brough are on a total of 42 goals and they have extended their goal run to 6 league/cup games. It’s 30 goals for SUNDERLAND after they drew 1-1 away to Millwall. PLYMOUTH won 2-1 at home to STOKE and are on a total of 35 goals. Stoke are on 27 goals. SOUTHAMPTON won 2-0 at home to Cardiff and they are on a total of 32 goals and have now scored in all of their last 12 league/cup games. SWANSEA CITY drew 1-1 at home to Huddersfield and are on a total of 31 goals. Bottom of the table SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY picked up their biggest win of the season as they win 3-1 at home to Blackburn Rovers. Wednesday are now on a total of 14 goals. BRISTOL CITY lost 2-1 at home to NORWICH and are on a total of 25 goals while Norwich are on a total of 37 goals and they have now scored in all of their last 13 league/cup games.
SCOTTISH RESULTS
In the Premiership top of the table CELTIC won 3-1 away to St Johnston and are on a total of 38 goals. Second place RANGERS won 2-0 at home to St Mirren and have extended their goal run to 12 league/cup games and have a total of 38 goals. They are still 8 points behind Celtic. KILMARNOCK picked up their fifth blank of the season and now they have failed to score in their last 3 games after they lost 1-0 at home to Hearts. HIBERNIAN won 2-0 at home to ABERDEEN and are on a total of 28 goals while Aberdeen picked up their seventh blank of the season.
In League Two we had just one of our three teams in action. They were STENHOUSEMUIR who won 1-0 at home against Bonnyrigg Rose. Stenhousemuir are top of the table this week with a total of 29 goals.

Our Best performing team are now PETERBOROUGH after they have now scored in all of their 20 league/cup games. They have a total of 49 goals which gives them an average score of 1.9 goals per game.
Our worst performing team is SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY this week as they have picked up 11 blank score sheets out of their 21 league/cup games.
Our highest goal scoring team in our 41st Season are NEWCASTLE UNITED after they won 8-0 away to Sheffield United in Week Eight. BARNSLEY and BRISTOL ROVERS have both pick up our second highest score with 7 goals. Barnsley won 7-0 at home to Port Vale in the first league game of the season in Week One. Bristol Rovers won 7-2 at home to non-league Whitby Town in the first round of the FA CUP in Week Fourteen.
SCOTT THOMSON (2) celebrates his second weekend at number one. Scott picked up a total of 12 goals this week from his second selection of Celtic, Peterborough, Wrexham. James Somerville moves back to second place this week and 5 goals behind Scott, as he picked up a total of 10 goals from the week. James teams are Celtic, Leicester City and Peterborough.
At the other end at 110 we have JOHN NICHOLLS back there. John picked up just 4 goals from the week and has now been there for a total of 5 weeks over the season. John has Bristol Rovers, Manchester City and Nottingham Forest.
There was another slight change in our top ten this weekend.
