In second place we still have BARBARA BARNES (2) with 18 goals. In third place with 17 goals we still have CHARLIE FARLEY (John Wood) In fourth place with 15 goals we still have GUY DOWSETT (1) and in fifth place GUY DOWSETT (2) with a total of 14 goals.

WEEKEND RESULTS

We had just 8 of our teams in action over the weekend, due to the International games being played. This means that our weekends average score was a flat zero.

The Highest score over the weekend was 3 goals and they came from League One where WREXHAM won 3-0 at home against  Shrewsbury Town. They are now on a total of 13 goals.

Wrexham became our 99th voted English team to join Golden Goals. That was back in our 2002/03 Season and they finished with a total of 84 goals. Their highest end of season score came last season with a total of 93 goals. This is their 4th season with us and over the years they have now netted a total of 252 goals. This now gives them an average score of 63 goals per season to date. They have picked up just one blank score sheet out of their 6 league/cup games played to date. They have just 4 votes this season. Lets get on with the results to see how your teams have performed over the weekend.

LEAGUE ONE

Wrexham are now top of the table winning 4 of their five league games played. BARNSLEY won 2-1 at home Bristol Rovers and are now on a total of 12 goals. They have extended their goal run to 7 league/cup games. CHARLTON drew 1-1 at home to Rotherham and picked up their 5th goal of the season.

Our best performing team is DUNDEE after they have now scored in all of their 9 league/cup games. They have a total of 33 goals which gives them an average score of 3.6 goals per game.

Our worst performing team is KILMARNOCK this weekend after they picked up 4th blank score sheets in their first 4 games of the season. They now have just 1 goal.

Our highest goal-scoring team in our 42nd Season are DUNDEE. They won 7-1 away to Bonnyrigg Rose in the Scottish League Cup in the very first game in the first round group stages.

DAVID BARRETT is still at the top for his fifth consecutive weekend even though he had none of his teams in action this week. David’s teams are Burnley, Dundee and Manchester City. He is still 9 goals clear of  GUY DOWSETT (2) as he also had none of his teams in action this week. His teams are  Arsenal, Celtic, and East Fife.

At the other end at 114 we still have STUART KEMP (2) as once again, he had none of his teams in action over the week. His teams are Manchester United, Peterborough and Tottenham.
