Chelsea Still Five Points Clear

More of our Golden Goals teams were in action last night and most did pretty well on the goals front.

In the English Premiership CHELSEA remained top as they beat London rivals West Ham 1-0 away. That was Chelsea’s 73rd goal of the season. MANCHESTER CITY kept up the pressure as they won 2-0 at home to Leicester City. They are now on a total of 68 goals. Its 56 goals for LIVERPOOL as they win 2-0 at home against Burnley while MANCHESTER UNITED won just 1-0 away to Newcastle. United are now on 55 goals. ARSENAL beat London rivals QPR 2-1 away and they take their goals tally to 61 while Rangers picked up goal number 28. EVERTON picked up blank score sheet number eleven as they lost 2-0 away to Stoke. Everton have now failed to score in their last two games. TOTTENHAM are now on 61 goals as they win 3-2 at home to Swansea.

In the Championship, LEEDS won 2-1 at home against Ipswich with all three goals being scored in six minutes near the end of the match. Leeds are now on 41 goals. WIGAN beat NORWICH 1-0 away to get their 33rd goal of the season while Norwich picked up their 9th blank of the season.

In Scotland CELTIC failed to pull away from Aberdeen in the Premiership as they lost their fourth league game 1-0 at home to St Johnstone. That was their 4th blank of the season.
