FALKIRK’S fantastic run in the Scottish play-offs has come to an end as they lost
their second and final leg in their promotion race for the premiership. After
winning the first leg 1-0 against Kilmarnock, they really got in to trouble at
Rugby Park and lost 4-0 away. Kilmarnock won 4-1 on aggregate and remained in
the premiership for next season. Falkirk who finished second after Rangers in
the Championship, picked up their fifth blank score sheet of the season.
