MANCHESTER UNITED have finally played their last league game of the season against Bournemouth
and won 3-1 at home. The result moves them up to fifth place in the Premiership
on 66 points the same as Manchester City above them, but City have the better
goal difference.
United are now on a total of 64 goals and they still have the FA Cup
Final to play in this weekend against Crystal Palace.
In the Championship 2nd
leg play-off game between HULL and DERBY we nearly saw Derby turn
the play-off around. They were 3-0 down against Hull from the first leg but won
the second leg 2-0. But Hull won this tie 3-2 on aggregate and will play
Sheffield Wednesday in the final on 28th May at home. Derby finish the season on 72 goals while Hull picked up their 14th
blank score sheet of the season.
