This week is nearly over already so let’s get right up to date with the
results that affect our Golden Goals
teams. On Tuesday night WEST HAM played their very last game at the
famous Upton Park before their move to the new Olympic Stadium next season.
They were home to MANCHESTER UNITED and won the game 3-2. The goals gave
West Ham a total of 75 goals while Manchester takes their goals tally to 61.
Also in the English Premiership
this week, LIVERPOOL drew 1-1 at home to CHELSEA to pick up goal
number 78 for them and 75 for Chelsea. EVERTON picked up their 11th
blank score sheet of the season as they lost 3-0 away to Struggling Sunderland
who will now not be relegated to the Championship. After a four game dry spell
for goals NORWICH won 4-2 at home to WATFORD which is now too late for them to stop the drop. Norwich are now on a
total of 45 goals while Watford are on 44.
With the Scottish teams we have had some more play-off games in where for
the Premiership; HIBERNIAN drew
2-2 at home against FALKIRK in their first leg semi-final game. Hibs are
now on a total of 83 goals while Falkirk take their goals tally to 74. In the League One first Leg final, CLYDE
lost 3-1 at home to QUEENS PARK to give them a total of 59 goals but
Queens take their s to 55.
Meanwhile CELTIC picked up their 101st goal of the
