Week Twenty

In Week Twenty of the competition it’s half time here and before the whistle was blown, we had just one player to pick up the full amount of cash this weekend with 10 goals. For his second win of the season it went to STUART KEMP.
Stuart won in week two on nine goals and he had to share the cash then. So Stuart has now won a total of £9 in cash so far this season. Since then he has picked up three blank score sheets giving him a total of four in the first half. The good news for Stuart is that he is back on the front page and we see him at his highest position to date. His highest score at the weekend was in week seven with 11 goals. His best team is Manchester City. Here are his teams once again

LIVERPOOL 4, MANCHESTER CITY 4, MANCHESTER UNITED 2

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT
Last week we had a total of five players that were on 50 or more midweek goals and with the results over midweek there are now a total of twenty-two of us hoping to win the cash. All but six of you managed to pick up some more midweek goals this week. We had two players that picked up the most with 10 goals each. They are CHRIS BOLBERY and BRADLEY CLARK. Like most of you they had Celtic and Manchester City as part of their combination, but Chris has Wigan and Bradley has Chelsea to make the set. so the race for the cash has changed slightly again this week.
Still in first place now on 59 goals we have JAMES BLYTH. In second place on 56 goals we have (Me) STEVE REEVE and up from three JULIE SOMERVILLE.  In third place on 55 goals is STEPHEN LEADER jumping in. In fourth place still on 54 goals we have SIMON DICKINSON and TONY KING.  In joint fifth place we have ROB FREEMAN, MIKE PEPPERRELL and JUNE TIGHE all on 53 goals.

WEEKEND RESULTS
This weekend the average score fell down again from four goals last weekend to just 3 this weekend. After a great start to the week from the midweek results, the weekend did fall a bit flat.
