Week Thirty

In Week Thirty of the competition we had our thirtieth winner of the season, GARY BOLBERY who won on a total of 12 goals to pick up the full £6 cash prize money. Gary started with Golden Goals in our 1998/99 Season where he finished in the winning frame in 10th place on 293 goals. But over the years, Gary has been in and out of the competition. Last season he finished in 76th place on 268 goals. This season he has been as high as fourth place and that was in Week One. This is his person best score of the season and he has picked up a total of two blank score sheets to date. Celtic is his best team.

CELTIC 4, DUMBARTON 4, RAITH ROVERS 4

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT
Just under half of us managed to pick up some goals in midweek this week. The highest score that we had was with nine goals and they went to AVA & AUBREY CLARK and COLIN WEBB. The girls Ava and Aubrey have Arsenal, Rangers and Sunderland which takes their midweek total up to 57 goals while Colin has Manchester City, Rangers and Sunderland. These brings his midweek goals total up to 67. So the race for the cash has a slight change again this week. This week we have added four more players with 50 or more midweek goals and this week it has moved up to a total of 119.
This week we still have GRAHAM HARRIS at the top and he needs just eleven goals to win the cash as he picks up another three goals from West Brom. Graham has Hearts, Tottenham and West Brom and a total of 89 goals. JUNE TIGHE has remained in second place and with a total of 85 goals. June has Derby, Manchester City and Tottenham. In third place and moving back into the race we have JOHN DAVIES with 84 goals. In joint fourth place both on 82 goals we have KELLIE STRATTON up from five and JAMIE WOOD down from three. In fifth place with a total of 81 goals we DANNY HARRINGTON down from four.

WEEKEND RESULTS
We had just fifty-six of our teams in action over weekend with thirteen of them failing to score any goals. We had another six teams that had no game. So the weekends average score remained as last weekend’s of 5 goals this weekend. Most of us managed to pick up some goals this weekend but there has been a lot of movement this week.
The highest score that we had came from three of our teams with five goals each. They were BRENTFORD, PLYMOUTH and RANGERS.
