In the Carabao/League Cup fourth round, we had just three of our teams in action. The good news is that all three are through to the next round. ARSENAL won 2-0 at home to Leeds Utd and they are on a total of 21 goals. CHELSEA drew their game 1-1 at home to Southampton to pick up goal number 25. With no extra time this season, Chelsea won 4-3 on penalties. SUNDERLAND drew 0-0 away to QPR after the full 90 minutes and then won 3-1 on penalties. That is Sunderland’s fourth blank and now two in a row.
In League One WIGAN lost 2-1 at home to LINCOLN CITY. Wigan are on a total of 26 goals and they have now scored in all of their last seven games. Lincoln take their goals tally to 21 goals.
In League Two SUTTON UNITED won 3-1 away to Colchester Utd and they are now on a total of 25 goals. They have now scored in all of their last seven games.
In the Scottish
Championship, KILMARNOCK go to the top after they won 1-0 away to
