We had another
three of our teams playing in the fifth round of the FA CUP and once
again only two have made it through to the quarter-finals. CHELSEA had a
narrow escape as they win 3-2 away to Luton. Chelsea are now on a total of 66
goals. LIVERPOOL won 20-1 at home against Norwich and they are on a
total of 89 goals. WEST HAM go out of the cup after they lost 3-1 away
to Southampton to pick up their 53rd goal of the season but now have
a goal run of six games.
In the Scottish Premiership top of the table CELTIC
won 2-0 at home against St Mirren and they are now on a total of 77 goals.
Three points behind them are RANGERS who won just 1-0 away to St Johnstone.
That was Rangers 74th goal of the season. HEARTS in third
place won 2-0 at home to ABERDEEN and they have taken their goals total
to 55 while Aberdeen, picked up their seventh blank of the season after a goal
run of seven games.
In League Two STENHOUSEMUIR drew 1-1
away to Edinburgh City. Stenhousemuir are on a total of 47 goals.
