The group draw has now taken place and here
are the group stages for the World Cup 2022. We still have three more places to
fill and these are hoped to be played in June. The countries in red are games yet to be
played.
The tournament kicks off on Monday, 21
November with a match between Senegal and Holland at the Al Thumama Stadium.
Also on that day will be the other Group A game between the host Qatar and
Ecuador and all of Group B in action.
Four games will be played each day during a group stage that runs for 12 days. The winners and runners-up of each group progress to the last 16. The final will be played on 18 December at the Lusail Stadium.
