One Week to go

 

Our second update on what is happening with the Golden Goals World Cup 2018 and after the first week since the entry forms went out, we had a total of just 29 that have joined in.

We usually don’t have a big following with the World Cup but it would have been great to beat our biggest total of 56 in the 2006 Germany World Cup. Although we have 16 days to the start of the Games, here at Golden Goals you have just seven days left to join in.

With the voting there seems to be just the six nations that players are picking up. With the highest number of votes so far it is still Brazil. They have 27 votes. In second place with 13 each we have Argentina and France. In third place are England and Germany with 11 each and in fourth place with 9 is Belgium. Next come’s Holland and Portugal with 8 votes each.

The host nation Qatar, have failed to win any votes so far. Out of the 32 nations taking part, we have 18 of them. We still have a long way to go before closing date of 11^th November.
