In Week Thirty-Five of the competition we had no prize money once again this weekend due to the lower leagues being played on Good Friday. So next weekend there will be a double Rollover worth £15. So most of us picked up some goals from the Premier League and our Scottish teams this weekend. We did have one player that picked up the most number of goals this weekend with 10 and they were STALKY (2) Bob Burgin. His teams are Celtic, Fulham and Newcastle.
100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT
Over half of us have managed to pick up a goal or two this week and the race for the cash has all most remained the same as last weeks. We had two players that picked up the best Good Friday results with 6 goals each. They are IAN SMITH with Celtic, Middlesbrough and MK Dons and JAMES WISE with Celtic, Charlton and MK Dons.
In first place this week we still have TONY KING now with a total of 98 goals. Tony needs just 3 goals for the cash. His teams are Chelsea, Peterborough and Rangers. In second place we still have ANN WELLARD with a total of 96 goals. In third place we still have MARK JOHNSTON and now joining him we have JAMES SOMERVILLE moving up from four. Both are on a total of 95 goals. In fourth place all with a total of 94 goals we now have GEOFF CARTHY, DOUG MORBEY and now BAILEY MORAN up from five. In fifth place we still have PETER PORTER on a total of 93 goals. In sixth place we still have ANDY EYLES with a total of 92 goals.
WEEKEND RESULTS
We had 26 of our teams in action over the weekend and out of them, 3 teams failed to score any goals.
The highest score that we had was 7 goals and they came from the Scottish League One from FALKIRK once again. They picked up their highest result of the season after they won 7-1 away to Montrose. Falkirk have taken their goals tally up to 94 goals and have now scored in all of their last 18 league/cup games. Here are all of the other weekends results.
PREMIER LEAGUE
LIVERPOOL are back at the top after they won 2-1 at home against BRIGHTON. Liverpool are on a total of 94 goals have now scored in all of their last 20 league/cup games. Brighton picked up goal number 60. ARSENAL are now in second place after they drew 0-0 away to third place MANCHESTER CITY. After a goal run of 8 league/cup games, Arsenal have picked up their 5th blank of the season. City picked up their 4th blank score sheet after a goal run of 17 league/cup games. ASTON VILLA are in fourth place after they won 2-0 at home against Wolves and are on a total of 65 goals. NEWCASTLE won 4-3 at home against WEST HAM and have taken their goals tally up to 74 while West Ham are on 55 goals. AFC BOURNEMOUTH won 2-1 at home against Everton and are on a total of 57 goals. CHELSEA drew 2-2 at home to Burnley and are on a total of 75 goals. NOTTINGHAM FOREST drew 1-1 at home to CRYSTAL PALACE and are on a total of 42 goals while Palace are on 38 and have now scored in all of their last 8 league/cup games. FULHAM drew 3-3 away to Sheffield United and are now on a total of 56 goals and have now scored in all of their last 8 league/cup games. TOTTENHAM won 2-1 at home against Luton and are on a total of 63 goals. MANCHESTER UNITED drew 1-1 away to Brentford and are on a total of 54 goals and have now scored in all of their last 15 league/cup games.
SCOTTISH RESULTS
In the Premiership, CELTIC are still top this weekend after they won 3-0 away to Livingston. Celtic have taken their goals total to 85. RANGERS remain in second place, with a game in hand, after they won 3-1 at home against HIBERNIAN. Rangers are now on a total of 85 goals and have now scored in all of their last 32 league/cup games. Hibs picked up goal number 52. KILMARNOCK drew 1-1 away to Hearts and are on a total of 56 goals and have now scored in all of their last 16 league/cup games. ABERDEEN won 2-1 at home against ROSS COUNTY and both teams are on a total of 47 goals.
In League One Falkirk are still top of the table after their big win. KELTY HEARTS won 3-1 at home against Edinburgh City and are on a total of 55 goals. COVE RANGERS won 4-2 at home against Stirling and are on a total of 65 goals.
In League Two STENHOUSEMUIR are still top of the table after they drew 0-0 away to Dumbarton. Stenhousemuir picked up their 7th blank of the season and now two in a row. EAST FIFE won 2-0 at home against Elgin City and they are on a total of 46 goals and have now scored in all of their last 8 league/cup games. CLYDE who are still bottom of the league, lost 4-1 away to Peterhead and are on a total of 48 goals.

Our Best performing team are RANGERS after they have now scored in all of their last 32 league/cup games. They have a total of 85 goals which gives them an average score of 2.3 goals per game.
Our worst performing team is SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY this week as they have picked up 18 blank score sheets out of their 43 league/cup games.
Our highest goal scoring teams in our 41st Season are NEWCASTLE UNITED after they won 8-0 away to Sheffield United in Week Eight. BARNSLEY, BRISTOL ROVERS, COVE RANGERS, CELTIC and FALKIRK have all pick up our second highest score with 7 goals each. Barnsley won 7-0 at home to Port Vale in the first league game of the season in Week One. Bristol Rovers won 7-2 at home to non-league Whitby Town in the first round of the FA CUP in Week Fourteen. Cove Rangers won 7-2 at home to Edinburgh City in the league in Week Twenty-One. Celtic won 7-1 at home to Dundee in the league in Week Thirty-One. FALKIRK won 7-1 away to Montrose in the league in Week Thirty-Five.
JAMES SOMERVILLE is back at the top this weekend as he picks up a total of 4 goals for the week. James has now been at the top for a total of six weeks this season. James teams are Celtic, Leicester City and Peterborough. John Filtness drops down to second place after he picked up just 2 goals at the weekend. John is just 1 goal behind James with his teams of Leicester City, Liverpool and Manchester City.
At the other end at 110 we have CHARLIE FARLEY (John Wood) for his 16th consecutive weekend. John picked up a total of 2 goals this weekend. John has Kilmarnock, Ross County and Stenhousemuir. John remains in 37th place in our “Losers League” again this week.
We had a slight change in the top ten this week as the race to be our 41st Champion is nearly over.
