Week Fifteen

In Week Fifteen of the competition there was no prize money this weekend.  So next weekend we will be having our third Rollover of the season worth £10.

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT

With no midweek games this week so the race for the 100 Midweek Goals Jackpot has remained the same as last weeks.  In the lead we have BARBARA BARNES (2) still with that 6 goal lead with a total of 35 goals. Her teams are Celtic, Falkirk and Manchester United. In second place we have DAVID BARRETT and ALFIE DIMMOCK both with a total of 29 goals. In third place we have STUART KEMP (1), BRUCE SELF and RICKY WOOD our 2007/08 joint Champion. All are on a total of 27 goals. In fourth place with a total of 26 goals we have PHIL COLLINS, CHRIS SETFORD and SCOTT THOMSON (1). In fifth place we have MARTIN CORBETT and STUART KEMPT (2)  both with a total of 25 goals.

WEEKEND RESULTS

Due to the International games over the weekend, we had just 15 of our teams in action. Out of them 4 failed to score any goals. So it is no surprise then, that the average score for this weekend fell down to a flat zero.

The highest score over the weekend was 3 goals and we had 3 of our teams that picked them up. They were  MK DONS, AFC WIMBLEDON and from the Scottish leagues CLYDE.  Here are the weekend results.

LEAGUE ONE

BLACKPOOL drew 0-0 at home to Northampton Town and picked up their fifth blank score sheet and now 2 in a row. BARNSLEY drew 1-1 away to Cambridge Utd and are on a total of 29 goals and have extended their goal run to 6 league/cup games. WREXHAM lost 1-0 away to Stockport County and picked up their sixth blank of the season.

LEAGUE TWO

AFC WIMBLEDON won 3-1 away to Barrow and are now on a total of 27 goals. BROMLEY drew 1-1 at home to Carlisle Utd and picked up goal number 22. NOTTS COUNTY after a goal run of 6 league/cup games, lost 2-0 away to Crewe and picked up their fourth blank of the season. DONCASTER ROVERS drew 1-1 at home to Salford City and are on a total of 25 goals. CHESTERFIELD lost again, 2-1 away to Harrogate Town and are on a total of 33 goals. MK DONS picked up another 3 goals as they win 3-2 at home to Cheltenham Town and are on a total of 27.

SCOTTISH LEAGUES

In the Championship FALKIRK are still top and now just 3 points clear after they lost their second league game 1-0 away to Livingston. Falkirk after they had scored in all of their last 5 league/cup games, picked up their fourth blank of the season.

In League One, COVE RANGERS lost again 2-1 away to Arbroath and are on a total of 26 goals. They have now scored in all of their last 15 league/cup games. STENHOUSEMUIR won 1-0 at home to St Mirren and are on a total of 22 goals.

In League Two PETERHEAD have moved down to second place after they lost 3-2 at home to Edinburgh City. Peterhead are now on a total of 30 goals. EAST FIFE lost 3-1 away to CLYDE and are on a total of 35 goals while Clyde are now on a total of 23 goals.

Her teams are Celtic, Falkirk and Manchester United. Jed Wearden remains in second place this weekend and still 2 goals behind Barbara. Jed’s teams were also not in action this weekend from Celtic, Liverpool and Peterborough.
