Week Eleven

In Week Eleven of the competition we had our second Rollover of the season worth £10. The prize money was shared between two Champions this week, our 2023/24 ANDREW HAMMOND and our 2012/13 ALICE STUBBS. Both won on a score of just 7 goals each. That now means that we have had a total of 15 winners this season to date.

Andrew started with us in the 2023/24 season where he became joint Champion on a total of 328 goals. He also had one shared weekend win. He is currently in 12th place in our Champions League. Last season, Andrew finished in 48th  place out of 114 with a total of 272 goals. This season he has been as high as 37th  place in Week Two. He has picked up a total of three blank weekend scoresheets. Manchester City is his best team.

WEEKEND RESULTS

We had 5 of our teams not in action over the weekend and another 16 teams that failed to score any goals. The average score this weekend was just 3 goals. So if you picked up more than that, you have done well this weekend. The highest score over the weekend was 4 goals, and they came from the Scottish Premiership where HIBERNIAN picked up their biggest win of the season with a 4-0 home win against Livingston. Hibs have taken their goals tally to 16 goals.

Hibernian started with us in the 1997/98 season and became our 20th Scottish team to enter Golden Goals. In their first season they finished on a total of 43 goals. Their highest end of season score came the following season with 89 goals. Last time out was in the 2023/24 season and finished with a total of 52 goals. This is Hibs 9th  season with us and over that time they have netted a total of 577 goals, which gives them an average score of 64 goals per season to date. This season they have picked up three blank scoresheets and they have just one vote.

Lets get on with the results to see how your teams have performed this weekend.
