These last couple of weeks seem to be flying by and here we
are nearly at half time in this season’s competition.
As you can see that Paul
Hudson is back on top as he picks up a total of 16 goals over the whole of last
week. Seven of the goals came from the weekend which was way above the average score
of four goals. His teams are one again Manchester City, Rangers and
Watford. That’s now ten weeks out of eighteen
for the season.
Paul Davey moves down to second place as he
picks up a total of 13 goals for the whole of last week. His teams are Manchester City,
Rangers and Wolves who had no game this weekend. He is now three goals behind Mr Hudson
this weekend.
At the other
end, John Dove is still there at 103
after a total of five weeks. John picked up a total of 7 goals over the week
but needs to do a lot better than that as he is now five goals behind the rest
of the field. John has Arsenal, Bolton and Doncaster.
We have five
people that have scored in every weekend which means no blank score sheets for
them. They are Malcolm Cormack, Danny Harrington,
Stuart Kemp, Laurie King and Ziggy
(John Wood).
Rangers are dominating this season’s goals race as they are now on a total of
65 goals and now 14 goals in front of second place Leyton Orient who are on 51. Our
third best team is Manchester City on 48 while in fourth place on 46 is Peterborough.
Our worst
team is Crystal palace with just 11 goals in sixteen
league/cup games. They have had a total of eight blank score sheets through the
season but that is not our worst. For the most number of blank score sheets
goes to Bristol
Rovers with nine out of twenty-three league/cup games.
Premiership
leaders Arsenal have a total of 31 goals to date and
they have only had two blank score sheets so far. Manchester United are on
27 goals after two defeats last week. United have had a total of four blank
score sheets and now two in a row.
