Not long now
before half time here at Golden Goals for our 31st Season.
This week Paul Hudson is still at
the top and just one goal clear of Chris
Nunn who moves up to second place this weekend.
Paul is now
in his 11th weekend at the top, picking up six goals at the weekend all from
Manchester City. At the other end in that 103 slot, John Dove is now in his 6th weekend there and three goals behind Stuart kemp.
We had a good
weekend for goals as Manchester City won 6-3 at
home to Arsenal. City take their goals tally to 54. Arsenal are on 34 goals. Liverpool also did well
by winning 5-0 away to Tottenham. Liverpool have scored a total of 15 goals in their last four games.
Tottenham picked up their 6th blank score sheet of the season. Everton picked up four goals against
Fulham in their 4-1 home win. Everton have picked up a total of 10 goals in
their last four games.
With our
three best teams this weekend, Rangers had no game due to the bad weather and so remain on 65 goals for the
season. Manchester City move into second place on 54 while Leyton
Orient move down to third with 52.
At the other
end, Crystal Palace are now on 12 goals and still are our worst team followed by Aston Villa and Doncaster are both on
19 goals each.
More Cup news
from last night games that did managed to get played. In the Capital
One quarter-finals, Manchster United beat Stoke 2-0 away and that takes their goals tally to 32 goals now. Tottenham lost 2-1 at
home to West Ham to pick up goal number 22.
