WEEK TWENTY-FOUR

Hello all, back again with the next New Sheet of the 31st Season of Golden Goals. How these week’s are flying by.
As you can see that Chris Nunn is still top this week and now three week’s in a row. Chris has done very well yet again over the last week with his combination of Chelsea, Manchester City and Rangers picking up a total of 12 goals.  Chris is now four goals clear of Mike Adkins who moves into second place this weekend after he picked up a total of 13 goals from his combination of Arsenal, Manchester City and Rangers.
At the other end we now have Malcolm Cormack this weekend with his combination of Charlton, Portsmouth and Swindon who picked him up a total of just 3 goals.  Malcolm started the season in 31st place but has slowly fallen down to 103 for the very first time this season. He has a total of 106 goals. John Dove moved up to number 102. John has picked up a total of 8 goals  this week from his combination of Arsenal, Bolton and Doncaster. John  was at the bottom for a total of ten weeks.He has a total of 109 goals.
Last season’s champion, Alice Stubbs is our highest champion to date in 19th place. Alice had to change her winning combination from last season to Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United. Alice has had to move all the way through the field from 103 in her very first weekend of football. The turning point for Alice was through the Christmas period and today we see her at her highests to date on a total of 180 goals.
It was Reading who picked up the most number of goals this weekend as they beat Bolton 7-1 at home. reading are now on a total of 39 goals.
Manchester City are still our best team by far this weekend with a total of 85 goals while Rangers remained as our second best team now ten goals behind City on 75. Leyton Orient are third with 65. A bit of a gap now between our best three teams this weekend.
At the other end Crystal Palace picked up their 17th goal of the season as they beat Stoke 1-0 at home. Blackpool become our second worst team with 26 goals followed by Aston Villa who become our third worst team this weekend as they now have a total of 26 goals.
