On Form Derby Win Again

We had nineteen of our Golden Goal teams in action last night and out of them eight failed to get any goals.

In the Championship,
NORWICH won 2-1 away to Blackburn after being a goal down. Norwich are now on 67 goals while LEEDS picked up their 10th blank of the season as they lost 2-0 away to Brighton. DERBY won 2-0 at home against CHARLTON to take

their goals total to 81 and have now scored in all of their last sixteen games while Charlton picked up their 12th blank score sheet. READING are now with fourteen blank score sheets as they went down 3-0 away to Huddersfield. WATFORD are on 68 as they win 3-0 at home to ROTHERHAM. Rotherham have now had a total of fifteen blank score sheets and with two games in a row without a goal. CARDIFF won 1-0 away to WIGAN to get goal number 48 while Wigan picked up blank number fifteen and have now scored just four goals in their last eleven games. WOLVES scored high again as they win 3-0 at home to FULHAM. Wolves are now on a total of 51 goals while Fulham picked up their second blank score sheet in a row and a total of thirteen for the season.

In League One, BRISTOL CITY won 3-1 away to DONCASTER and are now on 68 goals while Doncaster picked up goal number 49. It’s 61 goals for PRESTON as they win 1-0 at home to Walsall. SHEFFIELD UNITED are on 64 as they win 2-1 away to Rochdale. SCUNTHORPE lost 1-0 at home to BARNSLEY and that was their 10th blank and Barnsley’s 50th goal of the season.

In League Two, PORTSMOUTH won 3-2 at home to Tranmere and are now on a total of 42 goals.

Just one result from our Scottish teams and that was DUNFERMLINE’S 1-0 defeat by Brechin means that they have now had a total of eight blank score sheets and now two games in a row without a goal.
