Bristol City Are Champions

We had twenty-two of our teams in action last night and seven of them failed to give us any more goals
The highest score of the night came from League One as BRISTOL CITY became champions as they picked up their biggest score of the season with a 6-0 thrashing to Bradford. City have now taken their goals total to 93 goals.
Bristol City are in their 13th Season with Golden Goals and they became our 21st voted team in our first season where they finished on a score of 79 goals. This season they are going to pick up their biggest number of goals in a season as they have beaten their record of 80 goals scored last season. City have a total of two votes this season and they have picked up a total of seven blank score sheets to date. Over the thirteen seasons they have netted total of 952 goals which gives them an average of 73 goals per season to date.
 
Back to the rest of the results, in the Championship, CHARLTON picked up their 57th goal of the season as they drew 1-1 away to Bolton. DERBY are on 93 as they win 4-0 at home to Blackpool. CARDIFF lost 3-1 away to Ipswich and they are on 61 goals. NORWICH are on 86 as they beat LEEDS 2-0 away. Leeds picked up their 13th blank of the season.  WOLVES lost 2-1 away to Middlesbrough and that was their 69th goal while WIGAN picked up another blank as they lost 2-0 away to Millwall. Wigan have now had a total of twenty blank score sheets to date. READING picked up their 18th and now two games in a row as they lost 1-0 at home to Bournemouth.

In League One, COVENTRY picked up goal number 48 as they drew 1-1 at home to Oldham. The MK DONS are just two goals sort of 100 goals as they win 3-0 away to Fleetwood to take their goals tally to 98. LEYTON ORIENT lost 1-0 at home to DONCASTER to get their 17th blank of the season while Doncaster picked up their 62nd goal. BARNSLEY drew 1-1 away to Notts County and are now on 64 goals. It’s finally goal number 49 for PETERBOROUGH as they drew 1-1 at home against Crewe. Peterborough have failed to score in their previous four games but they have still scored just two goals in their last seven games. There’s no stopping PRESTON as they score again 2-2 at home against Gillingham. Preston are on a total of 85 goals and they have now scored in all of their last 32 games. SCUNTHORPE drew 1-1 at home to Port Vale and that was goal number 62 while SHEFFIELD UNITED lost 1-0 away to relegated Yeovil. That was United’s 8th blank of the season.

In League Two, BURY are on 62 goals as they win 1-0 at home to Shrewsbury. LUTON picked up their 13th blank and now two games in a row as they drew 0-0 away to Redbridge. STEVENAGE picked up goal 60 as they win 1-0 at home against PORTSMOUTH who picked up their 18th blank of the season.
