More Goals For Wolves


On Easter Bank Holiday Monday we had twenty of our teams in action and out of them only four failed to score any goals.

The highest score of the day came from the English Championship where WOLVES won 4-3 at home against LEEDS. That took Wolves goals total to 67 goals while Leeds are on 49.
Meanwhile in the English Prem we had the first shock of the week when CRYSTAL PALACE beat MANCHESTER CITY 2-1 at home. Palace are now on 51 goals while City take their goals tally to 72.

Back to the Championship, NOTTINGHAM FOREST drew 2-2 away to Brentford. Forest are now on 69 goals. CARDIFF picked up their 13th blank of the season as they lost 3-0 at home to Bolton. It’s 82 goals for NORWICH as they win 2-0 at home to Sheffield Wednesday. ROTHERHAM won 1-0 at home against Brighton to pick up goal number 44 while WATFORD won 2-0 at home to Middlesbrough to give them a total of 83 goals. DERBY won 2-0 away to WIGAN to take their goals total to 88 while Wigan picked up their 19th blank of the season. Wigan have now scored just three goals in their last six games.

In League One, PRESTON won 3-0 away to Bradford and are now on 82 goals. BARNSLEY lost 3-1 away to Colchester but picked up goal number 62. It’s 58 for LEYTON ORIENT as they drew 3-3 at home to Gillingham. COVENTRY drew 0-0 away to Notts County and picked up their 13th blank score sheet and now have failed to score in their last two games. PETERBOROUGH have now scored just one goal in their last five games as they drew 0-0 at home to Walsall to pick up blank number sixteen.

In League Two, BURY picked up goal number 59 as they lost 2-1 at home to Morecombe. STEVENAGE won 1-0 away to Cheltenham and are now on 57 goals. It’s 51 for PORTSMOUTH as they win 2-1 at home to Plymouth. LUTON picked up goal number 57 as they win 1-0 away to Tranmere. 

On Tuesday night, QUEENS PARK RANGERS picked up some more goals as they drew 3-3 away to Aston Villa in the English Prem. Rangers are now on 38 goals and they have now scored a total of nine goals in their last four games.

In the Championship, READING drew 1-1 away to Blackpool and are now on 56 goals. CHARLTON are on 55 as they drew 1-1 at home to FULHAM who are now on 62 goals.

In League One, BRISTOL CITY won 3-0 at home to Swindon and that now gives them a total of 86 goals. No stopping the MK DONS as they win 2-0 at home to SCUNTHORPE and are now on 95 goals while Scunthorpe picked up their 13th blank of the season. SHEFFIELD UNITED beat DONCASTER 3-2 to take their goals tally to 80 while Doncaster are now on 60.
