Capital One Cup Second Round

Before we start on the next round of the league cup games, on Monday night we had a premiership game between ARSENAL and LIVERPOOL. Both teams were playing their third league game and both teams were on a total of two goals each. The outcome was a little disappointing for both teams as the result ended in a 0-0 draw. Arsenal picked up their second blank while Liverpool had their first of the season.

So in the Capital One Second Round games, we had a total of twenty Golden Goals teams in action. Out of them only nine of them have made it through to round three.
We had three teams that picked up the highest score of the night with four goals. They came from CHARLTON, IPSWICH and NEWCASTLE.
CHARLTON beat PETERBOROUGH 4-1 away and that takes their goals total to 13 while Borough picked up goal number seven. IPSWICH won 4-1 away to Doncaster after extra time with their biggest win of the season so far. Ipswich are now on 14 goals.
