HIBERNIAN are now on a total of 30 goals as they beat Dundee UTD 3-0 at home in
the quarter-finals of the Scottish League
Cup last night. Hibs are second in the championship and they are doing very
well. They have now scored in all of their last twelve games with ten coming in
their last four games.
This is Hibernians fourth
season with Golden Goals and they started with us back in our 1997/98
season when they became our 21st voted Scottish team. In their first
season they netted a total of 43 goals and in the following season they picked
up their highest score of 89 goals. The last time that we had Hibs was back in
our 2000/01 Season where they finished on a total of 75 goals. So over the
seasons, they have scored 237 goals which gives them an average score of 59
goals per season to date.
Hibs have three votes this
season and out of their sixteen games that have been played this season, they
have picked up just one blank score sheet.
