First Day Of Season 35

We have had a fantastic first day for the New Entry Forms for the Golden Goals Season 35. We have had the biggest number of entries ever on a first day with 74. Last season’s first day from that historic season was 44 entries. So could we be looking at another record breaking season? Out of the 74 entries, eleven of them are new to the competition and we would like to welcome them to their very first season.

So how is the team selection looking so far?

We have thirty-two English teams with Manchester City once again picking up the most votes with 26. In second place we have Chelsea with 16. Third place is Fulham with 11.

We have just four teams at the moment from our Scottish leagues with Celtic leading the votes again with 60. Rangers are second with just 3 votes.

We still have a long way to go yet but we need more players to beat last season’s total of 136 players although we still have a lot of our regulars to send in their teams yet.

We have had quite a few hits from abroad here on our blog and I thought that I would be a great idea if players from other countries who would like to take part could get their families and friends to form teams ie Team USA or Team Russia who are our biggest bloggers here.
