Week Twenty-Three

In Week Twenty-Three of the competition and we had just one player to pick up the full amount of cash once again this weekend.  With their second win of the season it went to AMANDA MORRISON who won on her personal best score with 10 goals.
Amanda first won in week thirteen with a shared win on 8 goals. After her win she fell all the way down to 132 but she has been slowly moving back up the table . Amanda has still scored every weekend and her best team is Manchester City. Her teams are once again

FALKIRK 6, MANCHESTER CITY 4, SCUNTHORPE -

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT
We have now added another twenty-nine players that are on 50 or more midweek goals and that takes our total to 116 out of 149. It was STUART KEMP  that picked up the most with 11 goals.  They came from Liverpool four from two games, Manchester City three and Manchester United with again four goals from their two games. So with the big scores that we had once again the race for the cash has changed quite a lot this week.
We have a new leader in first place this week on a total of 72 goals we have STEPHEN LEADER who has moved up from three last week. In second place on 71 goals we now have last weeks joint leader JAMES BLYTH and up from four MATT DORAN. In third place all on 70 goals we have STEPHANIE CHRISTIE up from four, (Me) STEVE REEVE up from five and back in the race CHRIS SETFORD.  In fourth place down from two we have ROB FREEMAN and TONY GUY (1) and  DAVE WOOD from joint first place. All of them are on 69 goals. In fifth place all on 68 we have PHIL FRANCKSEN and TONY GUY (2) both down from four while BOB SAWYER and JUNE TIGHE have remained in their position.

WEEKEND RESULTS
The first fixture of 2018 was as last year ended being very quite this weekends average score remained at just 2 goals.  This weekend we had ten teams without a game and another twenty teams that failed to score any goals.
