Week Seven

In Week Seven of the competition and this weekend we had our first Double Rollover of the season worth £18 in cash. The cash was won by just one player on 11 goals and it was TIM WOOD who becomes our sixth winner with our biggest win of our 36th Season.
When we have a player that have been for us for a while, I am amazed just how long that they have been with Golden Goals. Tim is one of them as he started with us way back in the 1996/97 Season and has never missed a season. Many thanks Tim. In his first season Tim finished in 43rd place out of a field of 106 with a total of 251 goals. In his second season he finished in the winning frame in 4th place with 273 goals wining just over £23. Last Season Tim also finished in the winning frame in 19th place with a total of 303 goals picking up over £13 in winnings. So what a great way to celebrate with twenty-two seasons with Golden Goals by winning our Double Rollover. This season this is the highest that Tim has been to date in the table and with his personal best of 11 goals, he has picked up just one blank score sheet. His teams are

MANCHESTER CITY 3, PETERHEAD 4, RANGERS 4
