Week Six

In Week Six of the competition this weekend we had two players who picked up the weekends highest score with 5 goals each. They are FREDDIE COLLINS and BEN SCARBOROUGH. Both of them have Exeter as part of their combination who scored five goals in their game. Due to less than 50% of our teams in action due to the International games, we are going to have our first double Rollover of the season worth £18 in cash next weekend.

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT
With no midweek games this week the race for the cash has remained the same as last week. GRAHAM HARRIS is top on a total of 20 goals. He has Hearts, Tottenham and West Brom. In second place and four goals behind Graham we have GARY BROWN with 16 goals. Gary has Ayr Utd, Manchester City and Sunderland. In third place we have MARTIN CORBETT with 15 goals. In fourth place on 14 goals we have RYAN WILLIAMS. In joint fifth place all on 13 goals we have DANIEL GOODSON, JUNE TIGHE and ANN WELLARD.

WEEKEND RESULTS
Another very quite weekend for us as we had under half of us picking up some goals this week. We had just twenty-one of our teams in action with just four of them failing to score any goals.
The highest score came from the English League Two where EXETER won 5-1 at home to NOTTS COUNTY. With their biggest win of the season, Exeter after a run of three games without a goal, are now on 14 goals and have moved up to third place in the league. County picked up goal number ten.
Exeter are in their sixth season with Golden Goals and they were our 18th voted English team into the competition. In our very first season they netted a total of 55 goals. Last season they scored their highest amount of goal in a season with 77. Over the six seasons they have scored a total of 319 goals which gives them an average score of 53 goals per season. Although they have picked up a total of three blank score sheets in nine games, they have just two votes this season.
