In the last games of the Carabao Cup quarter-finals, MANCHESTER
CITY go out after they lost to bottom of the table Southampton with two
early goals in the first half. City lost 2-0 away and after a goal run of ten
games, they picked up their 2nd blank of the season. Southampton
have failed to win any of their last five league games.
In the other game Nottingham Forest drew 1-1
at home to Wolves and then won 4-3 on penalties.
