In Week Thirty-Two of the competition we had our fifth Rollover of the season worth £10 and it was won by a single player. That player is BARRY BURROUGHS who picks up his second win of the season with a score of 13 goals, which is his personal best weekend score. Most of us have managed to pick up a goal or two this week and the race for the cash has changed again this week. The highest amount of goals collected this week came from two of our players with 11 goals each. They are our 2014/15 Champion TOBY BICKNELL with Arsenal, Peterborough and Rangers. JAMIE WOOD with Arsenal, Celtic and Peterborough.
In first place this week we still have MARK JOHNSTON now with a total of 92 goals, which means Mark need just 8 goals for the cash. In second place this week we still have GEOFF CARTHY but joining him now, down from one we have .DOUG MORBEY, TONY KING moves up from six and coming back in to the race we have JAMES SOMERVILLE all with a total of 91 goals. In third place we still have JOHN FILTNESS but joining him now we have ANN WELLARD up from four, PETER PORTER up from five. Coming back in we have BAILEY MORAN. All are on a total of 90 goals. In fourth place we now have up from six ANDY EYLES with a total of 89 goals. In fifth place up from six we have GRANT PHILLIPS with 87 goals. In sixth place we still have ANDREW HAMMOND and coming back in the race we have JAMES BLYTH and JED WEADEN all with a total of 86 goals.
WEEKEND RESULTS
We had all but five of our teams in action over the weekend and we had 9 teams that failed to score any goals. We had another good midweek and weekend for goals. The average score for this weekend went up from four goals from last weekend to 6 goals this weekend. The highest score that we had was 5 goals and they came from the Championship where NORWICH won 5-0 at home against bottom of the table Rotherham. Norwich picked up their biggest result of the season, and have now taken their goals tally to 75 and have also now scored in all of their last 9 league/cup games.
Norwich became our 33rd voted English team in the 1984/85 Season on where they finished on a total of 69 goals. Their highest end of season total came in the 2009/10 Season with 102 goals. Last season they finished on a total of 61 goals. This is their 19th Season with Golden Goals and over the years they have netted a total of 1349 goals to date. That now gives them an average score of 71 goals per season. This season they have a total of just two votes and they have picked up a total of five blank score sheets. ARSENAL are back at the top on goal difference after they won 2-1 at home against Brentford. Arsenal are on a total of 72 goals and have now scored in all of their last 8 league/cup games. LIVERPOOL are in second place after they drew 1-1 at home against MANCHESTER CITY now in third place. Liverpool are on a total of 89 goals and have now scored in all of their last 18 league/cup games. City are now on a total of 75 goals and have now scored in all of their last 18 league/cup games. ASTON VILLA are still in fourth place after they lost 4-0 at home to TOTTENHAM now in fifth place. After a goal run of 7 league/cup games, Villa picked up their 5th blank of the season. Tottenham have taken their goals tally to 61 and have now scored in all of their last 6 league/cup games. MANCHESTER UNITED won 2-0 at home against Everton and are on a total of 49 goals and have extended their goal run to 13 league/cup games. AFC BOURNEMOUTH drew 2-2 at home to Sheffield United and are on a total of 51 goals. CRYSTAL PALACE drew 1-1 at home to Luton and are on a total of 37 goals and have now scored in all of their last 7 league/cup games. It’s 50 goals for FULHAM after they lost 2-1 away to Wolves. BRIGHTON won 1-0 at home to NOTTINGHAM FOREST and are on a total of 59 goals after they had failed to score in their previous 2 games. Forest picked up their 11th blank score sheet and now 3 games with out a goal. WEST HAM drew 2-2 at home to Burnley and are on a total of 51 goals.
CHAMPIONSHIP
We still have LEICESTER CITY at the top here after they drew 2-2 away to Hull. Leicester are on a total of 86 goals and have extended their goal run to 24 league/cup games. Leeds United have moved back to second place after their win on Friday night.
In the Play-offs we now have three of the four teams with IPSWICH TOWN now down to third place after they lost 2-1 away to Cardiff. Ipswich are on a total of 86 goals and have now scored in all of their last 13 league/cup games. SOUTHAMPTON are still in fourth place after they won 4-2 at home to SUNDERLAND. Southampton have taken their goals total to 82 goals while Sunderland are on 49 goals after they had failed to score in their previous 2 games. Norwich have moved up to sixth place.
Meanwhile PLYMOUTH drew 1-1 away to Blackburn Rovers and are on a total of 63 goals after they failed to score in their previous 2 games. STOKE won 2-1 away to Preston and are on a total of 45 goals. MIDDLESBROUGH won 2-0 away to QPR and are on a total of 68 goals. It’s 50 goals for BRISTOL CITY after they won 1-0 at home against SWANSEA CITY. Swansea picked up their 8th blank of the season.
LEAGUE ONE
Our highest team here is still DERBY in second place after they won 3-0 away to BRISTOL ROVERS. Derby are now on a total of 69 goals and they have now scored in all of their last 9 league/cup games. Rovers picked up their 6th blank of the season.
In the Play-offs again we still have two teams and they are PETERBOROUGH up to fourth place after they won 3-1 away to Burton and are on a total of 83 goals. They have now scored in all of their last 8 league/cup games. BARNSLEY are down to fifth place after they lost 5-1 at home to Lincoln City. Barnsley have taken their goals tally to 75 and have now scored in all of their last 21 league/cup games.
Meanwhile BLACKPOOL drew 0-0 at home to top of the table Portsmouth and picked up their 13th blank of the season. CHARLTON won 3-2 at home against Carlisle and have taken their goals total to 64. READING lost 2-1 at home against Wycombe and are now on a total of 59 goals and have now scored in all of their last 11 league/cup games.
LEAGUE TWO
WREXHAM are our highest team here still in third place after they won 3-1 away to Morecambe and have taken their goals tally up to 71.
In the Play-offs we are still down to having just one of the four teams and they are MK DONS in fourth place now. They won 3-1 at home to SALFORD CITY and have taken their goals total to 62. Salford picked up their 62nd goal of the season.
Meanwhile NOTTS COUNTY lost 2-0 at home to AFC WIMBLEDON. County picked up their 7th blank of the season while Wimbledon are on a total of 64 goals. SUTTON UNITED are bottom of the table after they drew 1-1 at home to Grimsby and are on a total of 51 goals.
SCOTTISH RESULTS
In the SCOTTISH CUP quarter-finals, ABERDEEN are through to the semi-finals after they won 3-1 at home to KILMARNOCK. Aberdeen are now on a total of 44 goals while Kilmarnock are on 50 goals and have now scored in all of their last 14 league/cup games. CELTIC won 4-2 at home to Livingston and have taken their goals tally to 79. RANGERS won 2-0 away to 9 man HIBERNIAN and are on a total of 82 goals and have now scored in all of their last 31 league/cup games. Hibs picked up their 9th blank of the season after a goal run of 6 league/cup games.
In League One top of the table FALKIRK won 2-1 away to Stirling. Falkirk are now on a total of 79 goals and have now scored in all of their last 15 league/cup games. COVE RANGERS lost 4-1 at home against Montrose and are on a total of 59 goals. KELTY HEARTS picked up their 10th blank of the season after they lost 3-0 away to Alloa. Kelty have now failed to score in their last 3 games.
In League Two STENHOUSEMUIR are still top of the table after they drew 0-0 at home to The Spartans. After a goal run of 18 league/cup games, Stenhousemuir picked up their 5th blank of the season. EAST FIFE won 3-2 at home to Dumbarton and they have taken their goals total of 41goals. CLYDE who are still bottom of the league, lost 2-1 away to Forfar. Clyde are on a total of 45 goals.

Our Best performing team are now RANGERS after they have now scored in all of their last 31 league/cup games. They have a total of 82 goals which gives them an average score of 2.2 goals per game.
Our worst performing team is SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY this week as they have picked up 17 blank score sheets out of their 41 league/cup games.
Our highest goal scoring teams in our 41st Season are NEWCASTLE UNITED after they won 8-0 away to Sheffield United in Week Eight. BARNSLEY, BRISTOL ROVERS, COVE RANGERS and CELTIC have all pick up our second highest score with 7 goals each. Barnsley won 7-0 at home to Port Vale in the first league game of the season in Week One. Bristol Rovers won 7-2 at home to non-league Whitby Town in the first round of the FA CUP in Week Fourteen. Cove Rangers won 7-2 at home to Edinburgh City in a league game in Week Twenty-One. Celtic won 7-1 at home to Dundee in the league in Week Thirty-One.
JOHN FILTNESS celebrates his 6th weekend at the top as he picks up a total of 5 goals from the week. He’s teams are Leicester City, Liverpool and Manchester City. James Somerville moves back in to second place this weekend as he picked up a total of 15 goals this week. James is just 2 goals behind John. James teams are Celtic, Leicester City and Peterborough. At the other end at 110 we have CHARLIE FARLEY (John Wood) for his 13th consecutive weekend. John picked up a single goal this weekend. John has Kilmarnock, Ross County and Stenhousemuir. John has remained in 40th place in our “Losers League” once again.
Other than our leader, the rest of the top ten has changed once again.
