In the start of the Carabao/League Cup 3rd Round, we had four of our teams in action. Out of them only 3 are through to the next round. They are AFC BOURNEMOUTH have picked up their biggest win of the season 4-0 at home to Lincoln City. Bournemouth have doubled their goals total to 8 goals. CRYSTAL PALACE won 3-0 at home against MIDDLESBROUGH. Palace are now on a total of 7 goals while Middlesbrough, after a goal run of 7 league/cup games, picked up their first blank of the season. NEWCASTLE UNITED won 1-0 away to Millwall and are on a total of 10 goals. They have now scored in all of their 5 league/cup games.
In the Championship, WEST HAM have moved to the top of the table after they won 3-2 away to Bolton. They are now on a total of 21 goals and have now scored in all of their 8 league/cup games. SOUTHAMPTON won 3-1 at home to Swansea and are now on a total of 17 goals and have now scored in all of their 8 league/cup games. CARDIFF CITY drew 1-1 at home to Stoke and they are on a total of 11 goals. PRESTON NE lost 2-1 away to Watford and are on a total of 7 goals. WREXHAM drew 1-1 at home against BURNLEY and are on a total of 7 goals. Burnley are on 8 goals.
