We had a total of 24 Golden Goals teams
playing last night and what a night it was for goals, although just three teams
failed to score any for us.
In the Championship, Leicester City remained top as they win 3-0 away to Barnsley and the
goals now gives them a total of 77. Leicester have now score in all of their
last twenty-four league/cup games. They have picked up 11 goals in their last
four games. After a two game dry spell for goals, Blackpool picked up their 31st goal
as they win 1-0 at home against Millwall. QPR picked up their 12th blank score sheet of the
season as they lost 2-0 away to Brighton. Bolton picked up their 10th as they drew 0-0 away
to Derby. Doncaster
are now on 36 goals as they win 2-1 at home to Watford. Watford
picked up goal number 61. Reading have been pretty quite over the last
couple of weeks but they made up for it last night as they win 4-2 away to Leeds Utd. Reading are now on 56 goals while Leeds are on 52. Middlesbrough
drew 1-1 at home to Nottingham Forest and
picked up goal number 45 and Forest 69.
In League One, Wolves picked up their highest score
scince the start of the season as they win 4-1 away to Swindon to keep top of this league.
Wolves are now on 66 goals anad they have now scored in all of their last nine league/cup
games. Swindon picked up goal number 56. Leyton Orient are
second as they win 2-0 away to Port Vale and that now give the O’s a total of
79 goals. Brentford
won 2-0 at home against Tranmere and are now on 68 goals while Gillingham
picked up their highest score of the season as they win 4-2 at home to
Coventry. Gillingham are now on 49 goals. It’s 66 goals for the MK Dons as they win 3-1 away to Notts County. Bristol City are on 64 as they win 2-1 away to Peterborough.
Borough are now on 76. Preston picked up goal number 64 as they drew 1-1
away to Stevenage.
In League Two, Scunthorpe remain in second place as
they drew 2-2 at home to Southend. Scunthorpe
are on 57 goals while Southend are on 54. Bristol Rovers are
on 43 as they lost 2-1 at home to Redbridge. FLEETWOOD drew 2-2 away to Bury and
that now gives them a total of 56. Portsmouth picked up their third blank in a row
and now thirteen over the season as they drew 0-0 at home to Burton.
