The Very Last Games of 2014

We have now seen the very last football of 2014 played and the results are very disappointing for us here at Golden Goals. We had seven of our teams in action and out of them only three found their opponents net.
The highest score to date came from the English Premiership where LIVERPOOL played Swansea at home and won 4-1. This is their highest score of the season and they are now on a total of 33 goals.

Meanwhile in the Championship, FULHAM lost 2-0 at home to Brighton to pick up their 8th blank score sheet of the season and now they have failed to score in their last two games. DERBY leaves 2014 on a total of 57 goals as they win 2-0 at home against LEEDS UTD. Leeds picked up blank number seven and now two games in a row. CHARLTON lost 3-0 away to Ipswich and they picked up their 7th blank score sheet and WIGAN picked up their 9th as they go down 1-0 at home to Sheffield Wednesday.

In League One, LEYTON ORIENT won 3-0 away to Yeovil and that now gives them a total of 36 goals. They have now scored seven goals in their last two games.

So this is the very last posting for 2014 from Golden Goals, so I would like to wish you all, where ever you are in the world a very Happy New Year.
