We had to look at our Scottish teams to find our biggest scores of the weekend from DUNFERMLINE and HEARTS. Both picked up four goals each. Dunfermline won 4-2 at home against Ayr and that now gives them a total of 36 goals while Hearts won 4-1 at home to Queen of the South. Hearts are now on a total of 43 and they become our fourth best team this weekend.
We had ten of our teams in cup action over the weekend and out of them only four have made it through to the next round.
They are DONCASTER who won 1-0 away to Oldham which gives them a total of 28 goals. PRESTON beat Shrewsbury 1-0 at home and they are on 39 goals. SHEFFIELD UNITED are also through as they win 3-0 at home to Plymouth. United are on 36 goals this weekend. BRISTOL CITY won 1-0 at home to non-league AFC Telford to pick up goal 40.
Teams in replays are BURY who drew 1-1 at home against LUTON which gave them goal number 33 while Luton hit goal number 29. BARNSLEY drew 0-0 at home to non-league Chester. Barnsley picked up their 5th blank of the season. SCUNTHORPE are on 27 goals as they drew1-1 at home to non-league Worcester.
So the teams that are now out of the cup are MK DONS as they went down 1-0 at home to Chesterfield and that was their 4th blank score sheet of the season. PETERBOROUGH picked up their 7th blank and now two games in a row as they lost 1-0 away to Colchester.
CHELSEA are still top but they lost 2-1 away to Newcastle. Chelsea are now on 38 goals. MANCHESTER CITY are still second as they win 1-0 at home to EVERTON. City are now on 39 goals while Everton picked up their 3rd blank of the season. LIVERPOOL drew 0-0 at home to Sunderland and that was their 4th blank of the season. Our worst team did well this weekend by winning 2-0 at home to Burnley. QUEENS PARK RANGERS are now on 16 goals. ARSENAL lost 3-2 away to Stoke but they are now on 25 goals while TOTTENHAM drew 0-0 at home to CRYSTAL PALACE. Both teams have failed to score in their last two games. Tottenham have had four blank score sheets while Palace have had five.
DERBY are still top as they win 3-0 at home against Brighton. Derby are on 48 goals and they are now our second best team this weekend. CARDIFF drew 0-0 at home to ROTHERHAM and picked up their 8th blank score sheet while Rotherham have now had ten. Rotherham have scored just one goal in their last six games. LEEDS are on 27 goals but lost 4-1away to Ipswich. NOTTINGHAM FOREST drew 1-1 at home against CHARLTON and are now on 35 goals while Charlton are on 25. READING have now had eight blank score sheets after they drew 0-0 at home to Bolton. NORWICH won 1-0 away to WIGAN and are on a total of 33 goals while Wigan picked up their 8th blank of the season. After a three game dry spell, WOLVES are on 25 as they went down 2-1 at home to Bournemouth.
In Scotland CELTIC won 1-0 away to Motherwell and are now on 42 goals. Celtic have scored in all of their last nine games. RANGERS also won 1-0 at home to Cowdenbeath and are on a total of 47 goals. STENHOUSEMUIR lost 2-0 at home to Forfar. That is their 6th blank score sheet of the season.

We are following Manchester City record breaking end of season score of 137 goals from last season, In Week eighteen last season, City scored three goals in midweek and just one at the weekend. Their goals tally has now risen to 48 goals after seventeen games played. They have still had two blank score sheet’s and their highest score was seven goals against Norwich in the league.
This season they picked up four goals in midweek and at the weekend they also picked up a single goal. So they are now on a total of 38 goals this weekend.
