It’s Week Thirty-Five of Season 34 and we had
our seventh Rollover of the season worth a total of £12. We had a total of six
winners this weekend who shared the cash winning on a score of 10 goals and so
they have picked up £2 each.
Our winners
are MALCOLM
CORMACK, DANIEL GOODSON, RAYMOND HARROD, DAVID STAINS, STALKY (1) and JED WEARDEN. Out of the
six winners, two have picked up their second wins of the season while the
others are new to the list which now means that we have had a total of 40
winners to date.
David has picked up his second win of the season and yet another
shared win. David won in week seventeen and shared the cash then. He has since
then picked up two more blank score sheets at the weekend bring his total to
six.
Stalky (1) (Bob Burgin) has already won back in week
two again he shared the cash with his second combination this season. But this
combination has picked up four blank score sheets at the weekend.
For our new winners, Malcolm has been as high as tenth place in week
seventeen and has also picked up a total of just two blank score sheets. Daniel has been top for fourteen weeks this season and
has remained in the top ten since Christmas.He has had a total of four blank
score sheets to date. Raymond is new to the
competition this season and he has been as high as third place in week eight
and he has spent most of the season in the winning frame. Ray has had a total
of five blank score sheets and this is his highest score since Christmas. Jed has been with Golden Goals for a few seasons now
and this is his highest position to date. Jed has only had one blank score
sheet and that was from last week. All of our six winners have Celtic as their
best team.

MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT
We still
have the three players that have now score 100 or more midweek goals. DARYL NICHOLLS is still leading
on a total of 109 goals this week. He has Celtic, Brighton and Newcastle. In
second place on 103 goals now is LUCIFER
the Cat or John Wood. He picked up
the two goals from Accrington Stanley once again. His other teams are Brighton
and Newcastle.The only other player to score 100 goals in midweek is ANDY EYLES. Andy has Manchester City, Newcastle
and Rangers. So we once again are still waiting to see if Daryl or anyone else can beat our highest midweek
score set by Paul Davey in our
2013/14 Season of a total of 132 goals.
WEEKEND
RESULTS
After the
Internationals left us without many games last weekend, the average score for
this weekend was 6 goals, which was really great as we had four teams without a
game and another fourteen teams that failed to net any goals.
The highest
score that we had over the weekend was five goals and we had two teams that
picked them up. First DONCASTER from
the English League Two won 5-1 away
to Grimsby. This is their second game this season to pick up five goals in a
game. They are now on a total of 82 goals and look set to beat their best score
with Golden
Goals which was back in our 2003/04 Season with 84 goals.
From the Scottish Premiership CELTIC won 5-0 away to Hearts and that
now takes their goals tally to 105. They are now crowned Champions for the 48th
time and it’s their sixth straight premiership title. They are still our only
team to hit 100 goals to date.
PREMIERSHIP
CHELSEA lost their
fourth league game over the weekend as they lost 2-1 at home to Crystal Palace
after going a goal up in the first five minutes of the game. The gap at the top
has now been closed to seven points as TOTTENHAM
in second place won 2-0 away to Burnley. Tottenham are now on a total of 78
goals. LIVERPOOL have moved up to
third place after they won 3-2 at home in their local derby with EVERTON. Liverpool are now on 78 goals
while Everton still in seventh place, hit goal number 57. MANCHESTER CITY have moved down to fourth place after they drew
2-2 away to ARSENAL who are still in
sixth place. City are now on 73 goals while Arsenal are now on 78 goals after a
goal run of nineteen games in a row. In fifth place is MANCHESTER UNITED who had a disappointed game with West Brom at
home with the score ending 0-0. That is United’s sixth blank of the season. WEST HAM lost 2-1 away to Hull and that
is goal number 45 for them. SOUTHAMPTON
picked up their tenth blank of the season after they drew 0-0 at home to BOURNEMOUTH who picked up their ninth
blank score sheet. LEICESTER CITY
are on a winning streak as they win 2-0 at home to STOKE. City are now on 44 goals while Stoke picked up their ninth
blank of the season.
CHAMPIONSHIP
We still
have the top two teams here with NEWCASTLE
still in the lead by one point as they win 2-1 at home to Wigan. Newcastle are
now on 87 goals. BRIGHTON are second
as they win 1-0 at home to Blackburn to pickup goal number 76.
In the
Play-off Zone we have just one team here and they are LEEDS UNITED but they lost 1-0 away to Reading. Meanwhile
just outside the zone it’s 50 goals for SHEFFIELD
WEDNESDAY as they drew 1-1 away to Barnsley. PRESTON drew 1-1 at home to Nottingham Forest to score their 61st
goal of the season while ASTON VILLA
won 2-0 at home to NORWICH. Villa
are now on a total of 42 goals and Norwich picked up their eighth blank of the
season. BRENTFORD won 2-0 at home to
Bristol City and they are now on 67 goals. WOLVES
won 3-1 at home to CARDIFF and they
are now on a total of 57 goals to Cardiff’s 55.
LEAGUE ONE
We still have
the top team here with Sheffield United
after they beat Millwall in midweek.
In the
Play-off zone we still have the three of the four with BRADFORD moving up to fourth place as they win 1-0 at home to
WALSALL. Bradford are now on 56 goals while Walsall picked up their fourteenth
blank of the season. SCUNTHORPE have
moved down to fifth place as they lost 3-1 away to MILLWALL. Scunthorpe picked up goal number 74 while Millwall after
two blank score sheets, take their goals tally to 72. SOUTHEND have remained in sixth place once again this week after
they won 3-0 at home to OLDHAM to take
their goals total to 64 while poor old Oldham picked up their twenty-fourth blank
score sheet.
Meanwhile BRISTOL ROVERS won 2-0 at home to
Shrewsbury and they are now on 69 goals. MK
DONS won 3-2 at home to GILLINGHAM
and that takes their goals tally to 62 and Gillingham to 63. PETERBOROUGH won 2-0 at home against CHARLTON and that gives them a total of
68 goals while Charlton picked up their thirteenth blank score sheet. It’s 50
goals for PORT VALE as they win 2-0
at home to AFC Wimbledon.
LEAGUE TWO
We still have the top three teams here this weekend with Doncaster
still on top after their big win. Second place PLYMOUTH lost 1-0 at
home to ACCRINGTON STANLEY to pick up their twelfth blank score sheet
while Accrington hit goal number 59. In third place is PORTSMOUTH. They
won 2-0 away to Hartlepool and they take their goals tally to 67.
In the play-off zone we just have LUTON again moving
back up to fifth place after they win 1-0 at home to Blackpool. Luton are now on 70 goals. Meanwhile COLCHESTER are on
57 goals but lost 3-1 away to Notts County. LEYTON
ORIENT picked up their seventeenth
blank score sheet of the season after they lost 2-0 at home to Wycombe. Orient
have now scored just one goal in their last five games. YEOVIL lost 2-0
at home against Carlisle and that was their sixteenth blank score sheet.
SCOTTISH
RESULTS
In the Scottish Premiership RANGERS are still in third place and
now ten goals behind second place Aberdeen as they drew 1-1 at home to
Motherwell. Rangers are now on 73 goals and they have now scored in all of
their last eighteen games.
ST JOHNSTONE
picked up their ninth blank score sheet as they lost 1-0 away to Hamilton. KILMARNOCK are on 34 goals as they drew
1-1 away to Inveness CT. In the Championship,
HIBERNIAN are now just nine points
clear of second placed Falkirk as they drew 1-1 away to Dunfermline. Hibernian
are now on 62 goals. FALKIRK won1-0
at home to Raith and that gives them a total of 54 goals. In League One, STENHOUSEMUIR are still rock bottom of this league as they lost again
3-0 away to Stranraer. Stenhousemuir have now had a total of thirteen blank
score sheets this season and now four games with out a single goal. PETERHEAD drew 1-1 at home to Airdrie
and they are now on a total of 46 goals.

Our Best
team on form is still CELTIC after they have scored in all of their thirty-seven
League and Cup games played and netting a total of 100 goals which still gives
them an average score of two goals per game.
Our worst
teams is still OLDHAM this weekend as they have picked up a total of twenty-fourth blank score sheets out of their forty-five
games played.
Our highest
goal scorers in our 34th Season are
HIBERNIAN after they won 8-1
away to non-league team Bonnyrigg Ross in the Fourth Round of the Scottish WILLIAM HILL CUP in Week Twenty-Five.
JUNE TIGHE is now in her fifth weekend at the top as she picks up a
total of nine goals for the week. June’s picked up two goals in midweek from Sheffield
United and the other seven came at the weekend from Celtic five and Newcastle two.
Sheffield United had no game. June has now extended her lead to six goals clear
of Stephen Stubbs who has remained
in second place. June has moved up to 3oth place in our Champions League as she
has now beaten Robert Hough score of 274 in 1990/91 Season and Geoff
Dockerill’s score of 274 goals in the 1994/95 Season. June is now above Mike
Harrington Jnr and David Salmon’s joint winners of 1997/98 Season on a total of
276 goals.
At the other end at that dreaded number 136
we have KATHY SOMERVILLE back down
there after her combination picked her up just
two goals at the weekend from Tottenham. Kathy’s other two teams, Oldham and
Yeovil who failed to score. Kathy has now been at number 136 for a total of 18
weeks over the season. Emma Sawyer is now one goal in front after she
picked up a total of three goals at the weekend. Kathy is in 30th
place in our Loser’s League this weekend.
