It’s Week Thirty-Six of Season 34 and we have
now had a total of forty-two winners as we had two winners who won on a score
of 13 goals each to share the £6 cash prize money. Girl power is alive and well
as our winners are both young ladies and they are GRACE GREENHILL and
our 2012/13 Champion ALICE STUBBS.
Grace is in her very first season with Golden Goals and she is doing very
well. As she picks up her highest personal score of the season, Grace has been
in the winning frame since week six and she has been as high as fourth place
and that was in weeks eight and nine. Grace has picked up four blank score
sheets and her best team is Celtic.
Alice was our Champion in our 2012/13 Season where she won on a
score of 318 goals. That score
has put her in 8th place in our Champions league. Being Champion in
that season, Alice won over £107 in cash including two weekend wins. Last
season she finished in 46th place on a total of 256 goals. This
season Alice’s has had a total of five blank score sheets and she has been as
high as fourth place in week eleven. Her best team is also Celtic. Our winners

MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT
We have now
extended our list of players that have now score 100 or more midweek goals to
seven. DARYL NICHOLLS is still leading
now on a total of 116 goals this week. He picked up the goals from Celtic and
Newcastle with one goal each while Brighton netted five in their two games. In
second place on 109 goals is still LUCIFER
the Cat or John Wood. He picked up
the six goals from Brighton and Newcastle. His other teams is Accrington
Stanley. In third place is ANDY EYLES on
102 goals. Andy has Manchester City, Newcastle

goals. we once again are still waiting to see if Daryl or anyone else can beat our highest midweek
score set by Paul Davey in our 2013/14 Season of a total of 132

WEEKEND
RESULTS
Goals
galore this weekend as our average score went up from six last weekend to 7
goals this weekend. We had just three teams without a game and another six
teams that failed to score any goals.
The highest
score that we had over the weekend was seven goals and they came from the English Championship where NORWICH won 7-1 at home to Reading.
With their highest score of the season, Norwich failed to score in their last
two games but the goals have taken their goals total to 84. They have seven
votes this season.
Norwich are
in their fifteenth Season with Golden Goals and they started in our
second season in 1984/85 where they finished on a total of 69 goals. They are
our 33rd English team to be voted in and we had to wait till the
2009/10 Season for their highest score of 102 goals. Last Season they finished
on just 45 goals. Over the season’s they have score a total of 1061 goals which
gives them an average score of 70 goals per season to date.
PREMIERSHIP
CHELSEA won their twenty-fourth
league game this weekend as they win 3-1 away to BOURNEMOUTH. As Chelsea take their goals tally to 84 they have now
scored in all of their last fifteen
games. Bournemouth picked up goal number 49.
The gap at
the top is still seven points as TOTTENHAM
in second place won 4-0 at home to Watford. Tottenham are now on a total of 85
goals and they have scored eleven goals in their last four games. LIVERPOOL are still in third place
after they won 2-1 away to STOKE.
Liverpool are now on 82 goals while Stoke picked up goal number 39. MANCHESTER CITY are still in fourth
place after they won 3-1 at home to Hull. City are now on 77 goals. MANCHESTER
UNITED have moved up to fifth place as they win 3-0 away to Sunderland and
they are now on a total of 70 goals. EVERTON
are in seventh place as they win 4-2 at home to LEICESTER CITY. Everton are now on 62 goals while City are on 48
goals.
WEST HAM are on 46
goals as they win 1-0 at home to Swansea. SOUTHAMPTON
won 1-0 away to West Brom and they are now on
a total of 49 goals.
CHAMPIONSHIP
We still
have the top two teams here with Brighton
back in the lead by two point after their two games in midweek. NEWCASTLE are now in
second place after they lost 2-1 away to SHEFFIELD
WEDNESDAY who are now in the play-off’s. Newcastle are now on 89 goals
while Wednesday are on 54.
In the
Play-off Zone we have two team’s here with LEEDS
UNITED who won 3-0 at home to PRESTON
after a tow game dry spell and they are now on a total of 63 goals. Preston
picked up their tenth blank of the season.
Meanwhile DERBY won 3-1 away to Birmingham to
take their goals tally up to 55 goals and ASTON
VILLA are on 44 goals as they drew 1-1 away to Burton. Although WOLVES lost 3-1 away to Bristol City,
they are now on 59 goals. CARDIFF won 2-1 at
home to BRENTFORD to give them a
total of 57 goals and Brentford are on 70 goals.
LEAGUE ONE
Congratulations
to SHEFFIELD UNITED after they won 2-1
away to Northampton to get promoted to the Championship next season. United
after scoring in all oftheir last ten games are now on a total of 89 goals.
In the
Play-off zone we still have the three of the four with BRADFORD in fourth place as they win 2-0 away to Bury. Bradford are
now on 58 goals this week. SCUNTHORPE
are still in fifth place as they win 1-0 at home to Bolton.
Scunthorpe
picked up goal number 75. MILLWALL
have moved up to sixth place as they drew 1-1 away to GILLINGHAM. As Millwall take their goals tally to 75, Gillingham
are on 64 goals.
Meanwhile SOUTHEND lost 2-1 away to CHARLTON and that was their 65th
goal while Charlton are now on 55 goals after a two game dry spell for goals. It’s
70 goals for BRISTOL ROVERS as they
win 1-0 away to AFC Wimbledon. MK DONS drew 1-1
away to Swindon and they are now on 65 goals while PORT VALE lost 1-0 away to Chesterfield to pick up their fifteenth
blank and now two games in a row. PETERBOROUGH
picked up their twelfth as they lost 1-0 away to bottom
of the table Coventry. OLDHAM won their eleventh league game
as they win 2-0 at home to Fleetwood. Oldham are now on 35 goals. WALSALL drew 1-1 at home against Oxford
to pick up goal number 48.
LEAGUE TWO
We still have the top three teams here this weekend with DONCASTER
being promoted to League One after they won 1-0 at home to Mansfield.
Doncaster areon a total of 83 goals. Second place PLYMOUTH won 2-1 away
to Crawley Town and they are now on 64 goals. In third
place is PORTSMOUTH. They won 3-1 at home toYEOVIL and they are
now on 69 goals while Yeovil are on 48.
In the play-off zone we just have LUTON still and they
picked up another single goal in their 1-0 win against Barnet away.
Meanwhile COLCHESTER are on 61 goals after they won
4-0 at home to Stevenage. ACCRINGTON STANLEY have now scored in all of
their last thirteen games as they win 3-1 at home to Crewe. LEYTON ORIENT
have now failed to score in their last three games as they go down 3-0 away to
Cambridge and are still rock bottom of the league. Orient have now scored just
one goal in their last six games.
SCOTTISH
RESULTS
In the Scottish Premiership Champions CELTIC are now on a total of 109 goals
as they win 3-1 at home to KILMARNOCK who are now on a total of 35
goals. RANGERS are still in third place after they beat second place ABERDEEN 3-0 away. Rangers are now on
76 goals while Aberdeen pick up their ninth blank of the season. ST JOHNSTONE won 3-0 away to Inverness
CT and they take their goals tally to 59.
In the Championship, HIBERNIAN are still nine points clear of second placed Falkirk as
they drew 1-1 away to Morton. Hibernian are now on 63 goals. FALKIRK drew 1-1 awayto Dundee United and
the goal gives them a total of 55 goals.
In League One, STENHOUSEMUIR are still rock bottom of this league as they win 3-1
at home to East Fife. Stenhousemuir
after their last four games with out a single goal are now on a total of
48 goals. PETERHEAD lost 2-0 away to
Queens Park to pick up their eleventh blank of the season and they are now just
two points in front of Stenhouesmuir.

Our Best team on form is still CELTIC after they have scored in all of their thirty-nine League and Cup games played and netting a total of 109 goals which still gives them an average score of two goals per game.
OLDHAM have picked up the most number of blank score sheets this season with a total of twenty-fourth out of their forty-six games played.
Our highest goal scorers in our 34th Season are HIBERNIAN after they won 8-1 away to non-league team Bonnyrigg Ross in the Fourth Round of the Scottish WILLIAM HILL CUP in Week Twenty-Five.
JUNE TIGHE is now in her sixth weekend at the top as she picks up a
total of ten goals for the week. June’s picked up four goals in midweek and the other
six came at the weekend from Celtic 3, Newcastle 1 and Sheffield United 2. June
has now reduced her lead to four goals clear of Lee Clark who has moved in to second place this weekend. June has moved up to 28th place in
our Champions League as she has now beaten Alec Short’s score of 280 in the
1988/89 Season and Adam Porter’s score
of 284 goals in the 2006/07 Season.
At the other end at that dreaded number 136
we have EMMA SAWYER back down there
after her combination picked her up seven
goals for the week. Five of them came from the weekend from Charlton 2,
Hibernian 1 and Leicester City 2. But Emma has now been at number 136 for a total
of six weeks over the season. She is now two goals behind Kathy Somerville
who picked up a total of 10 goals over the week. We can see Emma
moving up our Loser’s League this weekend as she has now beaten Steptoe &
Son’s score of 164 goals back in the 2015/16 Season and Brian Gorman’s total of
165 goals in the 1989/90 Season.
