Good Friday Games

In the English Championship, LEEDS UNITED are back down to the Play-off Zone after they lost 2-1 at home to Wigan. That is Leeds 73rd goal of the season. WEST BROM are still in fourth place after they won 3-2 at home to HULL. West Brom have taken their goals tally up to 89 while Hull are now on 65. In fifth place we have ASTON VILLA who won 2-0 away to Bolton. Villa are now on 80 goals and they have now scored in all of their last ten games. It’s 60 goals for BIRMINGHAM as they drew 2-2 at home against DERBY. Derby are now on 77 goals. STOKE have picked up their sixteen blank of the season as they lost 1-0 away to Middlesbrough. BRENTFORD drew 1-1 away to Millwall and they are now on 81 goals while bottom of the league IPSWICH lost 4-0 away to Preston. That is their nineteenth blank score sheet. BLACKBURN won 2-1 away to Queens Park Rangers and they have taken their goals total to 73. NOTTINGHAM FOREST lost 2-0 away to Sheffield United and that is their fourteenth blank score sheet. SWANSEA are now on 72 goals after they won 4-3 at home to ROTHERHAM who are now on a total of 52 goals, and a goal run of seven games.

In League One, BARNSLEY are now just two points behind Luton in second place as they win 2-1 at home against SHREWSBURY. Barnsley are now on 83 goals while Shrewsbury are on 62. In the Play-off Zone, SUNDERLAND in third place won 2-0 at home against Doncaster and they are now on 79 goals. Fourth place PORTSMOUTH won 2-1 away to BURTON ALBION and they are now on 85 goals while Burton are on 71 and a goal run of eight games. CHARLTON are in fifth place but they lost 2-1 away to Oxford Utd. Charlton picked up goal number 69. It’s 50 goals for BRISTOL ROVERS as they drew 1-1 away to AFC Wimbledon. COVENTRY won 2-0 at home to Bradford and they have taken their goals total up to 54. PETERBOROUGH drew 1-1 away to Fleetwood and they are now on 73 goals. PLYMOUTH lost 3-1 away to Gillingham and they are now on 57 goals. ROCHDALE are now on 57 goals after they won 1-0 at home to WYCOMBE as they get their twelfth blank of the season. SCUNTHORPE drew 0-0 at home to Blackpool and that is their seventeenth blank and now two in a row. SOUTHEND drew 1-1 away to Walsall and that is their 61st goal of the season but now just three goals from their last six games.

In League Two, top of the table LINCOLN CITY, after a goal run of twenty-nine games picked up their fourth blank score sheet of the season after they lost 1-0 away to Carlisle. MANSFIELD are up to second place after they won 4-0 at home to Morecambe and they are now on a total of 74 goals. MK DONS are back up to third place after they won 2-1 away to NOTTS COUNTY. The Dons are now on 73 goals while County picked up goal number 47. In the Play-off Zone we now have just one team and they are EXETER in seventh place. They lost 3-1 at home to Crawley and they are now on 61 goals and a goal run of eight games. SWINDON have picked up their seventeenth blank of the season as they drew 0-0 away to Cambridge Utd. It’s eleven blanks for OLDHAM after they drew 0-0 away to Cheltenham.

In the Scottish Championship, ROSS COUNTY are still top after they won 3-1 away to AYR UNITED in third place. County are now on a total of 71 goals to Ayr’s 65
