In Week Thirty-Eight of the competition we had a total of five players

weekend, next weekend we have a Rollover Jackpot of £12 in cash for our last

Brom. His combination is Hearts, Tottenham and West Brom. Graham is a long way
off of beating our record held by Daryl
Nicholls with 136 goals from the 2016/17 Season? John Davies is still in second place with 103 goals while Kellie Stratton is in third place with 100 goals. Adam Sansom is in fourth place with 98 goals. June Tighe comes next with 94 goals.
WEEKEND
RESULTS
We had twenty-five
of our teams in action again over weekend with nine of them failing to score
any goals. The weekends average score fell from seven goals from last weekend
to just 2 goals. The highest score that we had was four goals and they came
from the Premiership where EVERTON beat MANCHESTER UNITED 4-0 at home. Everton are now on a total of 58 goals while Manchester
United picked up their fifth blank of the season.
PREMIERSHIP
We have the top seven teams here this weekend with LIVERPOOL
holding on to top place after they won 2-0 away to Cardiff. Liverpool are now
on a total of 81 goals and they have now scored in all of their last six games.
MANCHESTER CITY are in second place and still two points behind
Liverpool as they win 1-0 at home to TOTTENHAM. City are still our top
scoring team with 123 goals. They have now scored in all of their last nine games.
Tottenham have remained in third as they as they pick up their fifth blank of
the season. ARSENAL are in fourth place after they lost 3-2 at home to
Crystal Palace. Arsenal are now on a total of 77 goals. Chelsea in fifth
place while Manchester United are in sixth place with Everton now
in seventh place. WOLVES drew 0-0 at home to Brighton and that is their
eleventh blank of the season. FULHAM picked up goal number 39 as they
win 1-0 away to BOURNEMOUTH who picked up their thirteenth blank score
sheet of the season. It’s 60 goals for WEST HAM as they drew 2-2 at home
to LEICESTER CITY and City are now on 54 goals.
LEAGUE ONE
LUTON are still on top after they won
3-0 away to ACCRINGTON STANLEY. Luton are now on a total of 87 goals
while Accrington picked up their eighteenth blank score sheet and now just
three goals in their last six games.
SCOTTISH LEAGUES
In the
Scottish Premiership, Champions CELTIC drew 0-0 away to HIBERNIAN and that is their eighth
blank of the season to Hibs twelve. RANGERS
are still second as they win 3-1 away to HEARTS.
Rangers are now on 92 goals while Hearts picked up goal number 68. It’s 70
goals for third place ABERDEEN who
won 1-0 away to Kilmarnock. HAMILTON
drew 1-1 at home to Motherwell and they are now on 27 goals.
In the Championship, ROSS COUNTY are still at the top while ALLOA lost 2-1 away to
Partick and that is their 50th goal of the season. Bottom of the
table FALKIRK lost 2-0 at home to Morton
and that is their thirteenth blank of the season.
In League One, RAITH ROVERS are down to third place after they drew 2-2 away to
Arbroath Raith are on 80 goals and have now scored in all of their last ten
games. It’s 60 goals for DUMBARTON as
they win 3-0 at home against East Fife. Bottom of the table STENHOUSEMUIR lost 3-0 at home to
Forfar and that is their twelfth blank score sheet.
In League Two, PETERHEAD are still top after they beat Elgin 2-1 away. Peterhead
take their goals tally up to 66 goals.

Our biggest
result in our 36th Season comes from MANCHESTER CITY as
they win 9-0 at home against league one BURTON
ALBION in the Carabao/League Cup semi-final
first leg tie in Week Twenty-Four.
KELLIE STRATTON is still
top this weekend with her seventh weekend of the season. Kellie picked up a
total of just four goals for the week from Celtic, Manchester City
and West Brom. She has also climbed up the Champions League to 23rd place
by beating our 1987/88 Champion Phil Reeve with 302 goals and John Fleming’s
score of 303 goals from the 1993/94 Season. Bob Sawyer is still in second place as he collected a total of four
goals all coming at the weekend. His teams are once
again. Celtic, Luton and Manchester City.
At the other end at 133 we still have
John Filtness at the bottom for a
total of twenty-nine consecutive weekends as he picks up a total of five goals
for the week. He has now had thirty-two weeks at the bottom but he is now eighteen
goals adrift this weekend. His teams are
Birmingham, Hamilton and Liverpool. John has made more progress in our Loser’s
League by beating our lowest score in the 2015/16 Season by Steptoe & Son with
there score of 164 goals and Brian Gorman’s score of 165 goals in the 1989/90
Season which has moved John up to 29th place in our Losers League.
