In Week Nineteen of the competition we had our twenty-second winner of the season and the cash goes to GUY DOWSETT (2). Guy won on a score of 9 goals and takes the full £5 this weekend. Guy started with Golden Goals back in the 2000/02 Season on where he finished in 35th place with a total of 269 goals. He picked up one weekend shared win. Since the 2006/07 Season, Guy has had two combinations in each season. Last season he finished in 75th place with his second combo with a total of 243 goals and 94th place with his first combo with 225 goals. This season his second combo has done very well for him. It has picked him up just two blank score sheets and the lowest position has been seventh in Week Three. Guy’s wining Teams are

MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT
Just under
half of us managed to pick up some midweek goals this week so the race for the
cash has changed again. We nowhave three players that are on their way to that
100 Midweek Goals Jackpot this week. It was LOUIE HARRINGTON that
picked up the most number of goals with six this week. This is the third time
that we have seen his name up here and I think we will see more of him in the
next half of the season. They came from Arsenal
and Sunderland. His third team is Manchester City the goals have taken his
midweek total to 43 goals.
In the lead we still have BOB SOPER who is now on a total of 53 goals. His teams are Arsenal, Fulham and Rangers. In second place now we have LYANNA GRIMWOOD moving up from three last week with 51 goals. In third place we have now have PETER PORTER moving up from four with a total of 50 goals. In fourth place down from two we now have COLIN WEBB and he is now joined with LOUIE HARRINGTON coming back in both with a total of 49 goals. In fifth place we have TONY GUY (3) but he is now with CHRIS BOLBERY and BOB SAWYER all three with a total of 45 goals.
WEEKEND
RESULTS
We had all
but five of our teams in action this weekend and out of the ones that did play twelve
failed to score any goals. So that means that our weekend average score fell
form five last weekend to 4 goals this weekend. The Highest score over the
weekend was six goals and they came from KELTY HEARTS.
Kelty Hearts are in their very first season with Golden Goals and they have had a great start to the season. Kelty are still top of Scottish league two after they picked up their biggest result of the season after they won 6-0 at home to Albion. Kelty are now on a total of 46 goals. They have had a total of two blank score sheets out of their total twenty-three games played. They have just one vote this season.
PREMIER LEAGUE
MANCHESTER CITY are still top here this weekend after they won 1-0 at home to WOLVES. City are now on a total of 39 goals and have now scored in all of their last six games. Wolves in ninth place picked up their ninth blank score sheet and now four in a row. LIVERPOOL remained in second place after they won 1-0 at home to ASTON VILLA. Liverpool keep their 100% scoring record going after playing in eighteen games and are now on a total of 50 goals. Villa picked up their third blank of the season. CHELSEA are in third place after they they won 3-2 at home to Leeds Utd. Chelsea are on 40 goals and a goal run of eleven games. WEST HAM remained in fourth place desbite their 0-0 away draw against Burnley. West Ham picked up their fourth blank of the season. MANCHESTER UNITED are up to fifth place after they won 1-0 away to bottom of the table Norwich. That was United’s 26th goal of the season. ARSENAL won 3-0 at home to Southampton and that has taken their goals tally up to 32. CYRSTAL PALACE won 3-1 at home to Everton and they are now on a total of 22 goals after a two game dry spell. LEICESTER CITY won 4-0 at home to Newcastle and they are now on a total of 31 goals.
CHAMPIONSHIP
FULHAM are still top of the league after
they drew1-1 away to Luton. Fulham are on 53 goals. BOURNEMOUTH in second place lost 2-0 at home to Blackburn. Bournemouth
picked up their fourth blank of the season after a goal run of eleven games. WEST BROM remained in third place after
they won 1-0 at home against READING.
West Brom are on a total of 30 goals while Reading picked up their eighth blank
score sheet. CARDIFF CITY drew 2-2
away to Birmingham and they are on 28 goals. Bottom of the table DERBY won their fifth league game with
a 1-0 win against Blackpool. That is goal number 22 for them. It’s 20 goals for
HULL after they drew 2-2 at home to
Bristol City. After failing to score in their previous five games, PETERBOROUGH won 2-1 at home to Millwall.
Borough are now on a total of 19 goals. PRESTON
won 2-1 at home to BARNSLEY and they
are on 35 goals to Barnsley’s 15. SWANSEA
lost 4-1 at home to NOTTINGHAM FOREST.
Swansea are on 33 goals while Forest with their biggest result of the season
are now on 32 goals.
LEAGUE ONE
ROTHERHAM are still top and doing very well after they won 3-1 at home to BURTON ALBION. Rotherham are now on a total of 47 goals while Burton are on 28 goals. WIGAN are still in second place as they drew 1-1 at home against IPSWICH. Wigan picked up goal number 42 and a goal run of six games while Ipswich after a two game dry spell are on 40 goals. SUNDERLAND are now in third place after they won 2-1 at home to PLYMOUTH. Sunderland are on 45 goals and a goal run of six games while Plymouth also picked up goal number 45. BOLTON lost 1-0 away to Accrington and that is their thirteenth blank and now two in a row. CHARLTON won 2-0 at home to Cambridge Utd and they are on 36 goals this week. LINCOLN CITY after a five games with out a goal are now on a total of 25 as they drew 2-2 away to Cheltenham. SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY won 2-0 away to Crewe and they are on 32 goals. OXFORD UNITED won 2-1 away to MK Dons and they are on 40 goals. PORTSMOUTH won 2-0 at home to Morecambe and they are on 31 goals. WYCOMBE drew 2-2 at home to AFC Wimbledon and they are on 41goals.
LEAGUE TWO
The highest team that we have here are EXETER CITY in fifth place. They lost 1-0 at home to Tranmere to pick up their sixth blank of the season after a goal run of seventeen games. SWINDON lost 2-0 away to Barrow and they have now had a total of four blank score sheets after a goal run of twelve games. SUTTON UNITED drew 2-2 away to Bradford and they are on a total of 36 goals and a goal run of eight games. SCUNTHORPE drew 0-0 away to Hartlepool to pick up their ninth blank of the season. SALFORD CITY lost 2-1 away to Mansfield and they are on 27 goals. STEVENAGE lost 2-0 at home to CARLISLE and that is their ninth blank while Carlsile are on a total of 18 goals.

Week Eight.
It’s all change at the top again
this week as GUY
DOWSETT (2) moves back to the top for the third time this season.
Guy picked up a total of nine goals from the weekend. His teams are Kelty
Hearts, Liverpool and Rangers. Guy is three goals in front Mango (Paul Moran) who has moved back up to second place after he
picked up a total of six goals all from the weekend. Paul’s teams are Chelsea,
Fulham and Rangers.
At the other end at 113 we still have ZIGGY (John Wood) here again this weekend which is now his fifteenth consecutive weekend at the bottom. Ziggy did picked six goals this week. His teams are Crystal Palace, Scunthorpe and Stenhousemuir.
