Week Twenty

In Week Twenty of the competition its half-time here at Golden Goals but we had our first major setback this week as the new Covid variant has started to effect the league fixtures. I really don’t understand why 25% of the EFL players are not yet vaccinated. With under half of our teams that were fit to play this weekend, we have cancelled the cash prize money for this weekend. The FA are to have a meeting today to see what can be done about the rest of the season. It is hopped that we can have our Christmas Weekend Jackpot of £10 on Boxing day, but we will have to wait and see after the FA’s meeting. But lets see what happen to the teams that did manage to play this week. It was SAM LEGHORN that picked up our highest score with a total of 10 goals. Sam’s teams are   Arsenal 4, Manchester City 4, Tottenham 2

We had just twenty-five of our teams in action this weekend after the rest of the games were cancelled due to teams picking up the new Covid variant.
