We had another 5 of our teams in cup action and out of them, only two are through to the next round. NEWCASTLE UNITED won 3-2 at home to West Brom, and they are on a total of 5 goals. TOTTENHAM won 5-1 at home against CHARLTON. With their biggest result of the season, Tottenham are now on the score sheet. Charlton picked up goal number 8.
Other teams that went out are PRESTON NE who lost 4-0 at home to Everton, and picked up their first blank of the season. BURNLEY drew 0-0 away to Bradford City and picked up their first blank score sheet. Burnley lost 4-2 on penalties.
